About this mod
A mod that overhauls the use of gas in order to make it somewhat more widely usable for every region. You can now build "Gas Fracking Stations" in both the Old and New World to extract gas from oil sources and use it either in Gas Power Plants or the new "Gas Fuel Station" to power your tractors in Enbesa and the New/Old World with natural gas.

Attention: "The Passage" DLC is required for this mod!
After being disappointed with the Passage where you need huge amounts of resources for a somewhat measly reward of only being able to use gas for a power plant, I decided to create my first mod to make the use of Gas more widespread ingame.
After you reach 1 Investor, you'll be able to build "Gas Fracking Stations", which extract gas from oil occurrences, in both the Old and New World. You then have plenty of options on what to do next: Export the gas to the Old World in case you don't have any oil on your main island for electricity or want to reduce pollution by switching to cleaner gas, export it to Enbesa for fuel, keep it in the New World for fuel, etc,etc...
The Fracking Station on its own has a base productivity of 100% and doesn't need to be in the direct vicinity of the oil fields;each oil tower you build, increases productivity by 100%.
You can use the "Fracking Stations" as a standalone, but the Fuel Gas Stations require both aforementioned in order to ensure correct function.
UPDATE for GU 18.2:
The fracking station now produces 2 units of Gas every 10s. The fracking station now also can be upgraded with a grain silo to produce 3 gas per 10s.
