I do not know why the creator did not do that. But here is how to.
You Need to Create a Folder and Sub Folders [Map] Snowflake 2\data\ame\maps\pool\moderate\ Create a folder called... [Map] Snowflake 2 then create inside that Folder DATA then create inside DATA Folder AME then create inside AME Folder MAPS then create inside MAPS Folder POOL then create inside POOL Folder MODERATE THEN Copy the 3 files inside the MODERATE folder
And Last... Copy [Map] Snowflake 2 TO your MOD folder When you Create a new Game in Anno 1800 select Snowflake 2 (It should appear if all Created and Copy properly)
you can create that new folder if you want the choice between the standard snowflakes and the one with crownfalls. If not simply copy the file in the mod folder and the standard map will be replaced. To get the original Map back simply delete the file from the mod folder.
Actually, you are Wrong. There is 15 Large MAPS plus one Crown Falls in anno 1800 not 14. You Need to Ignore "Too Many large Pool Islands." Error Message and add on more large. Just remove 2 Medium island if need space, in your Community Map editor. Also Crowns Falls is Better in Bottom Corners to Prevent MAP Flickering. <TemplateElement> <Element> <Position>0 0</Position> <!-- Bottom Right --> <MapFilePath>data/dlc01/sessions/islands/pool/moderate_c_01/moderate_c_01.a7m</MapFilePath> <!-- Crowns Falls Island --> <Rotation90>3</Rotation90> <!-- Rotation 0 1 2 or 3 --> <IslandLabel>Magellan</IslandLabel> <!--Name of Island --> </TemplateElement>
You Proberbly allready know that MAp Editor can Save as XML Template Format to edit. (Notepad ++) When Finish Save as a7tinfo Template or save as "Playable MOD"
