For everyone not getting extra slots, the text for the mod says the following:
"In order to equip more than 3 items you will have to drag them manually from a warehouse into the corresponding building. Please be aware, that in order to unequip the items, you will have to destroy the building."
So, you won't see more then 3-4 items in the building (trade union, town hall, harbourmaster) itself if you press on it. However, the other extra items do work when you put them in.
Does anyone know how to increase the range of the Docklands Wharf main building? I have copied the xml from this mod replacing the ID with 601470 but it does not seem to have any effect. Does anyone have the correct ID for this?
you write "If you want to equip more than 3 items, you will have to drag them manually from the warehouse to the appropriate building"but I have a question about exactly how I have the object dragged into the building I tried to mark the object but it can't be pulled into the building
What I meant is, that you have to open the menu where you can see all the stored items on that island. Usually you do this by clicking your warehouse and opening the item tab. Then you drag the item/s you wanna equip over to your trade union, etc. You have to do this because as far as I know, it isn't possible to "scroll" inside the item buildings anymore. This has been the case since a long while now. IIRC it is like this since around the palace DLC when they introduced a possible 4th slot. Something they did broke the ability to "scroll". So now if you wanna do it with my mod, you have to use this workaround. But since you wanna have items affect the whole island anyway, might I suggest the mod that is already linked in the description of this mod? It is way more convenient to use than my mod.
this is quite convenient for me, I just didn't quite understand how to move objects there, English is not my native language, so I tried to move the objects in the statistics card, as you have it in the pictures that bore me instead of having a building for services near the port (maybe it would like to update the description of how the mod works). and otherwise I have a mod that affects the whole islands and it works with your mod, it has only one visual mistake: when I connect the building with other buildings on the way it shows the extent but it also affects the buildings on the opposite end of the island so just build a service building and not connect is with the road and the extent does not show but the objects in the service building still affect the buildings
In the new add-on there is a new building, where new contracts are concluded and it is possible to attach new modules. So this building also replaces the port administration. Is there any possibility to impose an increase in the radius and slots with the ability to edit on it, as it was implemented in this mod?
In theory yes. I am however not playing Anno at all at the moment, so I have not tried the mod in general or this building in particular. All you should need is the building ID and then add lines similar to the ones this mod uses to edit the radius. Since I don't know either the building ID or how to get it, I can't do it for you. I have build this mod as a variation and used existing parts of other mods. Maybe your are lucky and the "Spice it up" collection has what you are looking for. Best of luck to you.
The new Docklands DLC allows many more items to be shown in the main building than 4. Any chance that could be used to show more of your items in the interface?
That is a good suggestion which would probably require to extract the UI data from the relevant building and applying it to the Trade Union etc. Sadly I don't know if that would even work, nor can I extract the relevant data. If someone else is able to that, then kudos to that person.
The mod is currently not working. I just have an other mod that increases the range of the range of the power plant and the Spice it up mod (don't know if this mod has a beef with your mod).
Just tried it with a freshly updated game and it still works for me. Depending on what your mods change in the game, they might very well conflict. Try disabling your other mods you suspect of interfering and check, whether or not my mod starts working again.

<!-- Docklands -->

*edit* nvm, I couldn't see the xml in the browser for some reason, had to view page source to get it
Edit: Just tested it again and it works just fine. Even with a truckload of other mod.
Edit, ok, it worked when I redownloaded the mod and moved the mod loader to a different folder
Best of luck to you.
great mod, loving it! Thank you
