hey. i just downloaded your mod and it looks amazing, im wondering in the description it says the museum and botanical garden gives bonuses, however for me the botanical hall is not giving any bonus and the museum only gives herliom of the gold realm bonus. Is there anything im missing, shouldnt it give more bonuses or how can i swap between them ? Its not clear how it works for me. I would greatly appreciate if somebody can help
Hey I'm sorry for the late reply: So what I found out the name of the sets are confused so the effects are there but the name of the set is wrong maybe that's your problem?
I wonder why this get so much endorsements, i found the new buidings totally deplaced in contrast to the beautiful Anno 1800 look.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the work you put into this, but I would have preferred to focus on half the buildings and then style them sensibly with fancy lives. You have sometimes placed huge lifeless areas around the buildings (or inner courtyards) where either nothing can be seen or you here and there e.g. grab a pillar, or a kiosk, or a chair, but there are no residents on them. Everything seems dull and lifeless, as mentioned at the beginning: In the great world of Anno 1800, that seems completely out of place.
Thank you for your honest feedback! And yes your'e right some areas especially at the big buildings does have some empty places. So there were so many buildings in my mind which i really wanted to have in Anno, so I modeled them all and put them into the game and never played the game seriously any more. So the view for details got lost a little bit. Let me finish all my plans and then (approximately next year) I will add some more habitans and decorations into some buildings
:D... It's more something like miscalculation, was a mistake to say a year. But yeah I didn't deliver... But thanks for the reminder! I'll try to keep at least the promise of improve decorations.
Hi, love this mod because it adds so much centerpiece buildings to an otherwise bland cities!
One thing I want to ask though, the Administration of Seafaring building has some flags/banners on the front, but it's showing the Anarchy banner. I feel like it doesn't fit with the theme of the building, is it intended? If it's okay can you tell me how to change what banner it's showing? (Can it be done just by editing the .cfg?) Thanks!
Greeting, first I appreciate your nice words. To your question: To be honest there is no purpose that there are the anarchy banners. I just took the first banners I saw :D. But you can easily change it by just go into the "lloyd_2.cfg" and search for "propaganda_flag_02.cfg". The whole line where this text is part of must be replaced with the path of the banners you would like to have instead.

But to think that Microsoft Visual Studio was unable to open the game's latest assets.xml.. I read that you need a serious text editor to be able to open it, so I thought surely Microsoft Visual Studio would be enough.. I was quite disappointed XD

So went to you assests.xml and under GUID='1010347' found and changed <SocketCount>3</SocketCount> to <SocketCount>6</SocketCount>, but didn't work. Then I found it 3 times and did the same for all of them yet still no joy. Am I wrong at what I'm doing? Can you point me to the right line in the xml?
The GUI of Anno is not capable to show more than 3 slots and the additional slot at the lower line. So your building has 6 slots but simply don't show it. Just put items in the townhall by drag and drop the Item.
Thanks for your response. Yea, I'm aware that the extra slots don't show up. However, drag and drop doesn't work either. I have done the same for other town halls in other mods using the same code but for some reason it doesn't work with yours. I also tried adding your town hall GUID to the file where I modded the other town halls and still doesn't do anything. Any other ideas?
Ok so after Reading again your post, I'm a little bit confused. The GUID 1010357 Is the Vanilla townhall, none of my townhalls does have this GUID. So do you want to edit my townhalls or the Vanilla townhall. If you want to edit my townhalls your'e doing Something wrong my GUIDs always begins with 85...
Yea, I wasn't sure which GUID to use so I followed your code and used both 1010357 and 850078 but none works. And even if I just change the slot quantity in your xml doesn't do anything. When I drag and drop items to the TH nothing happens, the item remains in the WH and no error is generated. I have tried changing directly in your mod's xml as well as adding the GUID on another mod that increases the slot and radius of service buildings. Any other ideas?
Ok I had to look for myself a long time :D. you have to add: <AllowedDragType>ItemSocket;CargoItemStack;StorageItemStack</AllowedDragType> to all 3 Guids of the cityhall. Then it should work
Yes, I have the newest version installed from here. i've seen that parts of the files are missing for the final part of the build, but they are in an older version of the mod (from mid 2021).
Thanks a lot for the mod. 1 thing I guess that was a cheat, but I loved was 600 attractiveness on the museums. Because of that I fixed all the small isles to be exquisite. But now it's 20 LOL. As probably was intended. So I dug around to fix it for me personally for those small isles. And was able to after some digging. Even on 1 botanical hall. I guess it's a cheat, but I don't use it on the bigger isles.
Greetings, yes that happened because for the bugfixing which has to be done because of GU16, I used alot the copy paste function. So I accidentally overwrote the attractiveness line. There will be another bigger update in future. Can you wait until then? Because I don’t want to update this mod again yet after so many times now.
Hey! First of all, Great great work! Really liked your mod! Unfortunately, since the GU 16 Update I could not use it well! After your update I was not able to load my previous built mod buildings and if I try to rebuild the justice court the game will end crashing. Could you help me? you have to add:
