About this mod
This mod rethinks the way combat functions in Mirage, aiming to enhance player-expression and making it more deliberate while also allowing for a "non-lethal" approach.
Now you can "stay your blade from the flesh of the innocent" without needing to avoid or run away from combat.

v2.0.0 Features:
"Assassin Focus" in combat
Take advantage of Assassin Focus in Combat.
In the first 60 seconds of combat, you can activate assassin focus. Make that first minute count.
Time now doesn't stop completly, it's slowed down;
Range is reduced, so it doesn't feel like Basim has a teleportation super-power; He is a fast assassin, not an X-men.
Aiming duration is now 10 seconds; Chose your targets quickly and execute - no more bathroom breaks during Assassin focus.
Basim is vulnerable while in assassin focus and during the last assassination, so be careful. This is a useful ability, but a double-edged sword.
"Kickback" After a Parry
After a parry, Kickback is now a 4 punch combo that attacks the enemies defense.
Uses stamina.
You can change targets mid-combo (wich is really cool IMO).
Mainly for controlling the battlefield, partialy for style points.
"Dodge Attack" and "Alternate Sprint Attack" are back
Found a way to preserve these moves, while still allowing for and independant "kick" and "light counter roll" skills;
Changed to follow-up attack of Dodge attack to better match the animation (visual change only).
Stun Kill Finishers
Stun finishers (triggerd by pressing your designated button to "kill" a defense broken enemy) are now replaced by non_lethal animations, (They are funcionally still lethal kills, for now).
You can still preform the cool lethal finishers by light or heavy attacking enemy.
Fixed a bug that displayed the wrong responder animation when triggering the stun kill from the back;
Kick
To freely kick anyone you want, anytime you want press your assigned "Quick Throw Trap" button.
Uses Stamina.
You can change the button configuration in:
Options - Controls - Costumize Controls - Combat (Tools section) - Quick Throw Trap
Partialy substitutes the "Quick Throw Trap":
When you have a ranged tool selected, "Quick Throw Trap" button will trigger the "kick"
When you have a torch selected, "Quick Throw Trap" button will trigger the "Quick Throw Trap"
You need to unlock the trap tool to use this move.
You need to have trap tool ammo to use this move.
The animations are diferent for each direction of attack.
Kinda like the grab move in AC1-ACR.
Light Counter Roll
A counter roll that can be activated anytime to vault over your enemies by using "Quick Throw Noisemaker" button.
Uses Stamina.
You can change the button configuration in:
Options - Controls - Costumize Controls - Combat (Tools section) - Quick Throw Noisemaker
Partialy substitutes the "Quick Throw Noisemaker":
When you have a ranged tool selected, "Quick Throw Noisemaker" button will trigger the "Light Counter Roll"
When you have a torch selected, "Quick Throw Noisemaker" button will trigger the "Quick Throw Noisemaker"
You need to unlock the Noisemaker tool to use this move.
You need to have Noisemaker tool ammo to use this move.
Kinda like "we have Ac Shadows at home"
Lock-on Speed
When locked on, Basim's speed is slower giving his movements more weight.
Makes it feel alot more like AC1 combat speed.
I'm still looking for ways to make these non-lethal options actualy non-lethal (still looking, not gonna be easy)
Have fun!
