Note: This custom shader is not compatible with HDR mode. Please turn-off your HDR Mode (from Windows 10/11 Display Settings and from game's graphic settings, both of them; to avoid blank screen in full-screen mode).
3D Stereoscopic mode only support Top-Bottom and Side by Side format.
You can adjust Dark-level, Light Intensity, Color Saturation, 3D Stereoscopic mode from UI. Tweak it to match your liking or match with your monitor/TV profile.
I have uploaded an update 1.02 as alternative file option. This is just a workaround for some people who feels that the dark area were too dark (e.g some people who are using OLED display, where black is truly black.. lol).
how to patch: - extract the patch files into your AC Mirage folder ( \Assassin's Creed Mirage ) - when Windows asking you to overwrite my older files then press YES. - run your game again - optional : press END keyboard button to show-up overlay UI and make some adjustment for Dark Level, Light Intensity and Color Saturation to match your liking and your monitor/screen profile.
Note: If you already satisfied with the result of the main version (version 1.0), please DO NOT apply this patch. The result may not good (dull and you will loss the realistic night) if you don't have compatible screen for it.
Hi, this mod is just beautiful and had good vibrancy along with bright highlights with rich colours which looks natural the most. I hope you would release alternative version of the mod which includes improved texture detail and clarity to make it life like. ⭐ I liked the tone and hilights in this more than "real life world of beauty reshade" but that reshade somehow looks photorealistic due to enhanced texture detail and clarity and it looks natural. So could you please release an update which had improved texture detail and sharpening. (Digital dreams Mirage mod also looks the same but it's not free)
⭐ To resolve the blacks in original one you had launched new update with low black level for OLED panels. The updated patch not that good looking and mainly it dont had same colour definition and vibrancy as previous one, i noticed in blue and green shades in the game and it even looks pale and off compared to previous one somehow. It would been spectacular if colours, vibrancy, didn't reduced while decreasing black level.
Hey @crubino. First of all, thank you for your work and the contribution to the community.
I'm new to this. I have a 3d projector (benq x3000i). I'm trying to understand how to turn on stereoscopic 3d mode other than the toggle - I see that the game is switching to top-bottom view but I'm not sure what program I need to use so the display detects it as 3D. Please let me know, hope I could get it working.
May I know what is your PC spec (GPU/CPU)? and what is your in-game graphic preset setting (Ultra/Very High/High...)? And what is your resolution to run this game? do you also using up-scaling (DLSS/FSR/ etc?).
I'm not get any micro-stuttering here; also on my local friends PC here (they always become my beta tester before I've uploaded it to public/Nexusmods). I'm using DLSS (Performance preset). And Yes, this game also require huge VRAM dan RAM if you are running it in higher graphic settings and higher resolution, even without any mods it will get micro-stuttering if your VRAM or RAM almost full (please check it out with your OSD to see how much VRAM that it already consumed). If you have 8GB VRAM and 16GB RAM then make sure to adjust some graphic settings.
for temporary NO, I'm sorry. I'm still search a way to find solution for it. I made HDR compatible easily for Alan Wake 2 and RE4 Remake. But for AC Mirage, somehow Ubisoft has using different approach to their HDR mode. Therefore the result with my custom shader is not good, so I decide to dropped support for HDR.
I hope I can found the workaround for this problem sooner.
can u plz help me i have a 4k monitor and in my assassins' game setting Resolution option is grey out for me due to which i am unable to play at full screen. I tried Alt+Enter and also Document folder assassins' mirage ini to change my resolution but nothing works for me
HELP. It just crashed when launching it. Rebooted PC, Verified files, same issue. No other mods nor shader installed. Kindly advise. Ubisoft game version. Thank you
to totally disable this mod: - go to your game folder (where is ACMirage.exe located ~ e.g C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Assassin's Creed Mirage\ ) - look up for this file : dxgi.dll - rename it as dxgi.old - Run your game.
That weird, since all my friends here and my self cannot re-produced that problem (no single crash at all). Can you elaborate how you installed it? I believe there is something missing during your installation which caused that problem. If you enabled HDR mode then please disable it (from your Windows 10/11 Display Control Panel ~ HDR settings), it can cause black screen in full-screen mode (You can try to press ALT + ENTER to switch Windowed mode, then the image will appears again after blank screen).
I believe there is something missing when you installed it. - Make sure you don't run any Reshade installer; and clean-up any Reshade version and its files if you already installed it before apply mine. - Just drag and drop ALL my files and folder into you game folder (where is ACMirage.exe reside).
I did what you said, do I need to download 1.02 or the one you installed first? I tried every combination. .FX files do not appear in the Reshade window.
did you also put my dxgi.dll, dxgi.ini and Reshade.ini files also my \simple-realistic\ folder into your game folder? I believe you already installed Reshade or mixed it before install mine. Therefore, my runtime and config file don't work properly.
No, you don't need to download 1.02. That's only optional files for some people with OLED screen (where black is truly black; so they feel too dark in some shadow areas).
Install my mod is really easy. Just drag n drop all my files into your game folder. And that's it. No need other files or other installer.

Thank you for responding. The game works fine when disabling or deleting the files.
I copied all the contents (except the README txt) to my main game folder. Windows 11 HDR from the settings is off too.
Tried the patch as well but same issue persist. Seems like it is an isolated issue from my end.
I will keep on trying. I'd really love your mod to work.
Thank you and keep up the good work.
Thank you
last try :
- rename dxgi.dll as d3d12.dll
- then try to run the game again.
I'm sorry, but no matter what I did with the 1.04 game version, I couldn't succeed. AC Mirage.FX does not appear in the list, the list is empty.
