Copied and pasted option 2 into the ACRSP folder and works brilliantly! Istanbul looks a lot more contrasty with no fog. Great work on the mod!

Thank you so much my game would drop frames all the time from 75 fps to 60 and it would always bug me but now it's gone and the game looks amazing.

Game doesn't run. What can I do about this? I simply copied and pasted the mod on the game directory as instructed.

delete dinput8.dll or use "option b". You may also try the "dinput8.dll" from "https://github.com/ThirteenAG/Ultimate-ASI-Loader/releases" and see if it works.

Thank you SOOOOO much for the fog fix !
This Fog was making all surfaces shiny and has driven me crazy for years lol !
    At long last, can't thank you enough :) :) :) !

You only need Shaderoverride folder & the d3d9.dll and it works, no need for ini or other files on my Ubisoft Connect version.

      You're welcome.
Using the d3d9.dll and the shaderoveride folder
is indeed sufficient for the helix shadertweaks.

The rest of the files are for reshade and or
      tweaking the shaders if desired.

      Enjoy the game!

the installation process is a bit more involved than i'm used to, but if only want to use the - remove fogs and other mist layers so shouldn't this be an easy install doing only this in the package?

      From the description:
Copy the contents of the zip file to the install folder of
assassins creed revelations, the folder which contains ACRSP.exe.

      - open the zip file
      - copy it's contents to the folder which contains ACRSP.exe
      - thats it.

      The rest is optional.

Right my apologies overlooked something crucial that
being that the helix shader tweaks are not included in the
package at all....I hang my head in shame.

So I've corrected that with a newer version of the
main package and added an option b which only contains
the helix fixes (specifically remove fogs and other mist layers).

For both packages the install procedure is:
      - open the zip file
      - copy it's contents to the folder which contains ACRSP.exe
      - that's it.

      The rest is optional.
By the way thank you for bringing this to my attention
      whether or not intentional.

this does work, but i'm not sure if this mod is causing the crashing that i have been getting, or it could be the latest mod i'm using that harder AI mod, which is really fun, but the game does crash, i should probably tell the author of that mod though.

It doesn't work. If I unpack the content the game won't launch. If I put the zipped file there, crashes.

Hello, I installed mod by the installation order simply copying the contents of the zip file to the install folder. But game crashes in launch. Could you help me? thanks for your answer in advance.
(BTW I'm using Ubisoft version of the game)

I can't get this too work. Shaders won't compile if I rename the d3d9.dll, but the game won't start with it with the default name.

Alas I have no idea why, if you simply copy the contents of the zip package
there is no need to rename anything so I would start from there.

Same. Game will launch without Reshade but as soon as I (A) Install this mod or (B) Install ReShade manually using DX9 settings, it crashes immediately.
