Hi, please can you offer a tutorial on how you hex edited the .exe to make this work?! I really want to combine this with my ultrawide .exe to make the game playable but sadly I cannot edit this file to work in UW as I also don't know how the author of that did it either.
Because he's an asshole modder, there's many others like him. Modders fall into 1 of 2 general categories
1. They are incredibly helpful and public with their work (usually allowing people to add on to their mod with permission) 2. They are self-righteous boobs that have an over-inflated sense of self worth.
Thanks GogetaX234 for hex code. Really helped uncaping fps for 21:9 fixed exe of the game. Just use any Hex Editor, find the string 00820570 and change 73 to EB.
I advise mod author to spread his legs and bcheeks more widely for the company that doesn't care about supporting their own games.
What are you even talking about? Why do people think I support ubisoft or am a fan of ubisoft just because I don't wanna bother adding some widescreen fix or cracked version support to a mod?
What? Is that cuz I don't support cracked version? Oh pardon me for not wanting to waste time figuring the same s#*! out for a different executable, go cry about it.
FYI for anybody getting this error and actually want to fix it: just right click the .exe, go to compatibility and check "disable fullscreen optimizations"
What about a way to patch my own EXE with this using something like Swiss File Knife (SFK), or editing Hex Values I want to combine this with some Aspect Ratio Mods i have which work
Hey much appreciated <3 Works like a charm, but...
Just a question, of course there's something wrong :P (not a jab at you modder)
3440x1440 resolution. Any way to put that into the patch? There is a UW fix now on pcagmingwiki, just it won't go over 60 fps and because both mods, respectfully: your and the pcgw one both have dedicated executables it is alas not possible to have both in one.
Could you maybe look into this for us please?
Until the mean time I'll try to run the game on a lower res.
In any case, much obliged for your work and trouble.
When I try to use instead 2560x1440 - it launches as a part of a screen (but not as a window), when i press ALT+Enter - it goes to window's mode. I've edit .ini file with settings and made Hz 144/165, if i leave it as 60 hz - there's 60 fps only. So no way around I found yet...

Maybe that helps. :)

it also makes the elevator go really slow when you exit the animus so beware of that as well.
