Absolutely blown away by the positive feedback. I appreciate you all and THANK YOU for choosing this reshade out of all the other great ones available <3
I've added a optional file which comes with a lowered ' clarity ' setting, also removing ' Clarity2 ', ' Mode1 ', and ' Colourfulness ' to give a extra few FPS.
For some reason, I couldn't get this to work. I followed the directions, but it made the graphics so much worse. Like I'm playing on Windows 95. Lol. I'm sure it's just me doing something wrong. The images look great!
Lmao windows 95, I have no idea what's going on there. Reshade shouldn't do that to your game. Might be something to do with something else installed?. The worst possible thing reshade could do would lose you FPS depending on how demanding the reshade is by the shaders it's using. Making the game run like a W95 wouldn't be caused by this :)
You could turn off one of the shaders at a time and see if one of them are causing an issue? I know 'Mode1' can be a bit iffy with some games.
1. Do i downloaded your file? If so, does it go into the root directory of the game?
2. Not understanding "Once ticking them continue.." Once i choose directx, are you telling us to tick every box on this next screen which has add on effects?
3. If i tick all the boxes and click next it loaded a bunch of stuff and then after i get a list of more things to check. Do you want us to check all those boxes on this second screen as well?
So once you've clicked DirectX 10/11/12 and click next, it'll come up with all the shaders. Click uncheck all (twice) so it ticks all the boxes. Then click next. That's it.
So I did that initially and it appeared to load all the shaders...but then another screen with more add ons for me to check or uncheck appeared right after. I cannot uncheck or check all. The options are fewer and i have to check them individually. Do those have to be checked or unchecked?
Regardless, I managed to get it working, or at least what I think i did is working. I initially checked all the boxes. Second screen i didnt check anything. I then loaded into the game, pressed the "home" button on my keyboard. In that reshade screen, its the preset screen, I scrolled looking for your mod and it does not show up. What I ended up doing was exiting the game and relaunching reshade. This time on the screen where it has me select all the shaders i scrolled down to browse. I located your file manually, selected it, and relaunched the game.
you need to have all the boxes checked , not uncheck then paste the file from here to the game folder for example , when in game press home skip tutorial and there should be an option with a folder and a + on the top right side of the interface , I believe its the plus icon you need to select , then select the file you downloaded from here.
Just wanted to say thank you for this AMAZING reshade. Initially, I didn't think Shadows needed a reshade, but then I thought 'let's see what's out there', and I found this. Will buy you some coffees when I have some spare cash... :)
Great options! Sadly takes overall too much performance so I just use some (Clarity options def. the most perf. hits). I recommend to play with the settings on/of on day/night and nvidia app for lat. messurement. (Forgot: The Mode1 makes heavy changes like an inverted mode)
Once I open ReShade in-game and choose the 'Real Life ACS Reshade By Scottyus1'. I get lot of uncheck options like Levels, Adaptive color grading, ADOF and more. How do I know wich one to choose to make it look like the picture? Or it is supposed to come with the one you have preselected?

Hope this helps.
The feedback is very much appreciated, and my reshades will always be free to people that want to use them :) <3
