To fully utilize DirectX 12 Ultimate (which Agility SDK 1.716.1 enhances) you need a DX12 Ultimate-compatible GPU such as:
NVIDIA:
RTX 20 Series - RTX 2060, 2070, 2080
RTX 30 Series - RTX 3060, 3070, 3080, 3090
RTX 40 Series - RTX 4060, 4070, 4080, 4090
RTX 50 Series - RTX 5070, 5080, 5090
AMD:
Radeon RX 6000 Series - RX 6600, 6700, 6800, 6900
Radeon RX 7000 Series - RX 7600, 7700, 7900
Radeon RX 9000 Series - RX 9700, 9800, 9900
Intel:
Intel Arc A-Series - Arc A380, A750, A770
Intel Arc B-Series - Arc B580, B770, B780
Older GPUs, like GTX 10 series or Radeon RX 5000 series, do not fully support DX12 Ultimate features like Mesh Shaders, Sampler Feedback, Variable Rate Shading (VRS), and DXR 1.1 (Ray Tracing)
Average FPS: Slight improvement from 194 FPS to 195 FPS(0.5% increase) Maximum FPS: Significant improvement from 233 FPS to 306 FPS (31.3% increase) 1% Low FPS: Improved from 164 FPS to 168 FPS(2.4% increase) 0.1% Low FPS: Improved from 157 FPS to 162 FPS(3.2% increase)
Probably Framegen. With 4090, I get 55 fps average with all setting max, 4K and Quality DLSS. I get 100+ fps with framegen and it feels very smooth in this game.
Shadows, light source, hair and other character details are probably highest impact if you don't want framegen.
Sorry but your numbers prove nothing. Average FPS: Slight improvement from 194 FPS to 195 FPS (0.5% increase) So, exactly the same as before, within the margin or error.
Maximum FPS: Significant improvement from 233 FPS to 306 FPS (31.3% increase)
This could just be one single frame, which changes nothing.
1% Low FPS: Improved from 164 FPS to 168 FPS (2.4% increase) 0.1% Low FPS: Improved from 157 FPS to 162 FPS (3.2% increase) Still, margin of error. This could just be a closed browser tab or another process not running this time.
You can see the graph right? It's more stable and consistant, those bullet points don't tell the whole story like the full graph does. Yeah it's not a big improvement but it does what it's meant to, even out frame rates.
brother i have a 4060ti, i run it in 2k res with literally everything on high except ray tracing, and i get no lower than 70 fps.. idk what settings you have to get 40 fps on a 4080 super
No, this mod doesn't completely replace the stutter fix mod. You can actually use both together for the best results. They complement each other rather than overlap.
Has anyone here been getting the dreaded DX12 errors that are going on? I've been testing on and off to see if this mod either helps or hinders the error. I've tried damned near everything to fix it.
Since patch 1.0.2 I lost close to 30fps, and the mod seems to have 0 impact anymore.
I used to average 100-130fps with a 4090 and 5800x3d, windows 11, 1440p, all maxed out with dlss native AA and dlss FG; and stability and around 10fps added by the mod; so on average around 112fps
But after 1.0.2 the game has moments of big fps drops, down to the 40s, and now i get 70-100fps, and an average of like 92. Sadly due to frame generation, this feels horrible. And the mods don't do anything anymore, to improve stutter or performance.
yeah i noticed that as well. I don't have a nasty GPU( stuck with a 3070) before the update the game used to run well for me, i used to get 60-80 frames and it rarely dropped unless i was deep in the sticks. I know my gpu is old gen but i have problems as well
For v1.02 Ubiconnect version, the game will not start properly if all files are replaced. Just replace only "d3d12SDKLayers.dll". Dont overwrite "D3D12Core.dll". That seems to bring 5-10fps boost. The environment is Windows 10 57x3d+4070s.
You'll have to update if you already have Windows 10. You probably got many messages to do it in the past. If, like me, you refused many times and don't have these messages anymore, you can still do it with the Windows 11 Installation Assistant (just google it).
(Please pin this if it can help some people) To anyone who got crash/game not start
Do not move/overwrite "D3D12Core.dll" file! Just move/replace only "d3d12SDKLayers.dll" as instructed. Your game should open and run like normal. Improvements differ for each PC, but for me, this one makes my game run smoothly better than the first time I started playing the game.
I am also using Windows 10 22H2, RTX 3060Ti, i5-9400f. Still running the game fine without any problems.
Was the solution for me too. May depends on ReShade? Other Overlays (MSI Afterburner, Nvidia App, ....)? .... No time to test everything. (on Win 11 24H2, 3080)

I got a 5800x with a 4080 and I play in 4k full ultra and I get steady 90fps...

this is a really nice guide if you want to optimize your fps
Reverting back to the original files launches the game fine.

Anyone else with this problem?
(i read description okay, just genuine question)

easy tutorial i used, everything works, lost nothing
