I was able to create my own version of this mod that is working in 1.0.2 using the original as a guide, took me about 3 hours of trial and error to learn cheat engine well enough to put this together. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to replicate it completely. I am not sure how to create the value change line to change the time without opening the actual script, and I also am not sure how to allow time to continue running normally with this enabled. So when you have the script enabled, time will stand still at whatever you have set it too. By default I have it set to 6AM. To change it, you are just going to right click the Time of Day script, click Change Script, find line 9 that says "dd (float)6", and change 6 to whatever time you want. After that, toggle the script on and the time should change to whatever you set it to.
Messed around with it some more and got it working functionally the same as the original mod. I will still delete this if the author decides to update his version. Let me know if there are any issues.
Thanks for your hard work but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. I can't check the box of "Time Value(check box and change value to desired time)" or edit values. I play on Steam.
Works for setting time only when activating. I only use it to set at night so I loaded the CT file in Notepad and set it so it sets time to "1", which is night. So it works for now and I appreciate the work! But it would be great if we could change the time too and as other point out, that is not currently working. Thanks!
Hmm it’s working for me on my end. Have you tried checking the box above that for editing time first, then checking the time value box and editing the value? After that, uncheck the edit time box and recheck it to change the time? That is how I have to do it on first start up, otherwise I can’t check the time value box either. If that doesn’t work, I’m really not sure what could be happening. I’m not really too experienced with cheat engine, this is the first table I’ve ever made with it and it took me hours of playing around with it to learn it. It could be possible the table is specific to my game setup somehow? I am also playing the I uplay version so that could also be affecting it.
I appreciate the feedback though. I just decided to mess around with it as I saw the author hadn’t been active since March 26th and I really didn’t think I’d get this far with it to be honest. Hopefully he returns and updates the mod himself as he clearly is more knowledgeable than I am lol.
Hi UnBroken, I followed your instructions but didn't work. As parabolee said, I can change time by clicking [script] and change the number of dd (float) on line 9 and then the check the two boxes above. So, technically works. Thank you so much!
I love this so much! Took me a bit to figure out cheat engine because I've never used it but once I did this made my gaming experience so much better! I hate traveling around at night because I feel like I miss out on so much beauty in the game world and I also hate sneaking around a castle in broad daylight. IRL, I would rest in order to queue up the optimal times for whatever activity I was performing. This gives me the ability to approximate that. Thanks!
Now, I'd like to add my voice to the requests to add season control if possible. That would be fantastic!
Is there where I can bind this script to a key so that with the game open I can forward the time by a couple of hours? I am new to cheat engine. I basically want to go inside a home and pretend that Naoe is meditating until nightfall before she goes out to hunt.
Im still figuring it out myself, but i was able to get it to work by downloading cheat engine and installing it, launching the file that is included in this mod, (this will load the table into cheat engine) and then where it says in Cheat Engine "No process selected* From there you select Assassins Creed Shadows while the game is open. Then in in cheat engine near the bottom in red, there is a line that says (Time of day activate to edit) You click it so its active, and then where it says value, you put a number there that represents the time of day, i put 24 and i believe the game registered that as midnight. Not really sure exactly but i at least can control when its night now, would be cool to be able to do it in increments with bindings though. Hope this helps.
This mod has transformed the game experience for me, I can't thank you enough.
Each time the game forced me into night time it dragged me out of the immersion and frustrated me to no end; whether I was trying to ride through the wilderness and enjoy the scenery, or trying to decorate my hideout in the sunlight. 'Why the hell is Naoe awake at 3AM? Why does she never sleep?' was the only thing on my mind, it was becoming impossible to enjoy the game.
Thank you so much for fixing what was, imo, the biggest issue AC Shadows had so far.
Naoe doing stealth during the day also doesn't make sense most of the time, yes, although I find the forced night time more unimmersive because of the fact that it's actively unconducive to gameplay (whereas exploring a fort at daytime is perfectly fine gameplay-wise).
But that's another benefit of this mod! It allows people to skip to night for stealth should they wish, or day-lovers like me can enjoy stealth in the daytime for beautiful environments and slight extra challenge
I have severe migraines is there a possibility to expand this mod to not having lighting when raining? every time im playing and the lightning strikes I get photo sensitivity and have to stop playing, or if not able to remove the lighting, a way to advance to a sunny day? or stay on sunny weather all the time?

Cheat table TOD mods not working either
I have the ACShadows +13 U1_4_1 CT TOD working now with the latest update.
