I like this - and I know the best way to find out is play the character :) But, curious how this plays out as you make it to where you normally meet up with Halsin and thereafter... the plot goes smoothly relative to already being Halsin and knowing the way to Moonrise?
And, I 'm guessing he can romance whomever as well?
Hey, do you have any plans to update the mod? Do you have any new tools after patch 7 that will allow you to change the dialogues and triggers to make it look like I'm actually playing as Halsin (his unique dialogues with Thaniel and Jaheira, for example)?
Thank you for releasing a balanced version for Halsin because of my request! Now, I don't want to sound picky and test your patience, but I just wanted to ask 1) I like Halsin's staff and its effects (really good for an Archdruid), but I think the +6 to all stats is what makes it too OP. The rest probably doesn't affect the game that much. Can you release a version without stat buffs? Thank you in advance 2) Is it possible use other model and give all these effects(or some others, perhaps related to the druid class)? As I understand right, you used the Emperor's Staff, but it doesn't look druidic at all

Also I'm not sure if this is a feature of the mod or if Halsin works the same way in the original, but why does the bear form have so much HP? I mean, at level 9 I get 180 hp in bear form and 90 hp in owlbear form.
Oh, I also love the bear form, this is the most “forest” and classic form (along with the wolf) of all, but I’m already in Act 3 and even in tactics, Halsin essentially wins any battle solo (except boss battles). His incredible damage and survivability make him too strong, will you weaken this ability?
Again, thanks for your work! I can't express how glad I am that I have the opportunity to play as Halsin because in games like this I prefer to play characters with a backstory rather than a custom character. I hope after the September patch you will have much more options in what kind of experience you want to give to other players
I created him while having "Level 30 Enhanced" active so he is adapted to that mod's difficulty not to "vanilla tactician" difficulty. If you actually play him without any difficulty mods then yeah he is god-like OP and takes the fun out of the battles so I do not recommend that. If you don't want to add any type of difficulty enhancements then I recommend just playing the Balanced version. Or is that also overpowered for vanilla? Never really tried playing the balanced one so let me know if I need to nerf it further
I haven't played the balanced version yet, so i don't know, but even without the staff, Halsin in bear form can single-handedly win a battle in tactican difficulty.
If you want my opinion, it would be ideal for me to have a balanced version with the current staff (that is, without +6 stats) and with a balanced bear. By balanced I mean exactly what the real Halsin has. Only a multi-attack (that is, no AOE claw attacks) and perhaps a roar like the standard bear form, which forces enemies to attack him. And, most importantly, lower multi-attack damage and health in bear form. It's too OP.
On the other hand, now I want to try some mods to increase the difficulty.
I saw that for some characters you made it so that they weren't just Tav with a unique model, but actually the character itself. I know this caused a ton of bugs, but will we see something similar for Halsin?
A side character becoming the main character and thus not having a main character to interact with, breaks all quest progressions related to said character so I can do it with the ones who's quests are less important but Halsin's quests are actually game-breaking if they don't work. So at the moment making a mod with actual Halsin is not possible because when you get to Act 2 and you need him to deal with Thaniel and the Shadowcurse he won't be there and you won't be able to start the quests as him because you are the main character waiting for him to show up(even though you are the character that has to show up). Complicated errors arise from messing up with these kind of things. All I am hoping for is that once we get the official Larian modders tool in September we will be able to easily mod quest triggers in a way where they react to the character we want, get the dialog options we want etc.
Will this impact adding the real halsin into my party on act 2? or when i save him from the goblin camp? or is this just a way to recruit halsin after saving him from the goblin camp? I don't want to break my game lol
I don't know if it's possible but if it is, would you consider fixing his innate spells as a companion? It would be great for companion Halsin to be be able to upcast his call lightning.
FYI the old halsin one you did would not let you properly level up the "real" non origin halsin when you got him. I have a theory that this is because you use the same UUID for both halsin's. If you can quickly get him might be worth a test (script extender Osi.RequestRespec("Halsin's_UUID") should do the trick)

And yes, I love bears so that HP increase is intended :D
