Can I use this without Expansion?

    • Yes. You just won't get the 13+ skills.

Will you make Heart of Darkness work for every spell level?

    • No. Implementing it that was is a pain so I chose not to do it.

    Patch 7 compatible?

    • Yes.

Spells/Invocations from [insert mod] aren't showing up

    • This does not use any custom spell or invocation lists and is not an issue with this mod. This uses the vanilla Wizard and GOO lists. This also uses the standard Invocation list.

    The class isn't showing up:

    • You need Compatibility Framework and its requirements installed. Compatibility Framework must be at the end of your load order.

I chose to give people freedom in picking whatever Invocations from whatever mods they fancy, but taking pact-related Invocations does not give you the pact features. You would need to multiclass for that.

    Known Issues:

    • Inscrutable isn't showing up since patch 7. I'm not sure why this is yet.

This doesn't use any custom spell lists so it should be compatible with any spell mods.

This class has been a blast to use. Any way you could add psychic to the Elementary Mastery selection?

Your load order is probably wrong. Compatibility Framework needs to be the very last thing in your load order, and Community Library needs to be at the beginning.

hello, as i'm updating my game to conform to the PHB 2024 rules, unfortunately comes with some caveats but it's understandable, in the 2024 phb rules basically eldritch blast is just a warlock thing, which i guess it makes sense... couldn't you just grab it via feat?

welp, spell sniper no longers gives a cantrip in 2024 and magic initiate... welp, whatever you grab, it obviously makes it use/scale with the corresponding spellcasting of that class. so yeah, nigh impossible to get eldritch blast.

how one would go about adding eldritch blast cantrip to hexcraft spell/cantrip list? as i guess it would make sense that hexcraft wizards would gain access to it.

is there anyway to modify this?

You would have to add the spell list to the progressions somewhere. You would put AddSpells(UUID,,,,AlwaysPrepared) in the selectors line. Or just multiclass Warlock.

Will it be compatible with Veenab's warlock spells? Because they don't show up in spell list when I was testing them with your mod. Also there's a tooltip issue with Heart of Darkness and Inscrutable when I was testing my translation of your mod (I'll upload it on Nexus soon).

This doesn't use any custom spell lists so if you're not seeing the spells that isn't an issue with my mod. It just points to the GOO list.

I think Inscrutable had the wrong handle ID on it, I'll fix it when I update. What was wrong with Heart of Darkness?

I'm sorry to bother you, but I just wanted to know if there was a way to make the Hexcraft Wizards use the 5e spell list before level 13+.  If not, I'm sorry for bothering you.

I'm not sure what you mean. This just uses the standard Wizard spell list and the GOO Warlock one.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear.  What I mean is that when a Hexcraft Wizard levels up, the new spells they can learn don't seem to include the ones from the 5e Spells mod.  Sorry for bothering you.

There's a problem with your 5e spells then. This doesn't use any custom spell lists, so I'd imagine those spells aren't showing up on any Wizards for you.

one question, is it possible that this thing i'll explain below, could be a possible patch 7 side effect?

I have your hexcraft wizard school, alongside a couple other schools mods out there, they work fine, at level 2 they all show up and bla bla, but when i'm going to multiclass, aka, let's say i start a fighter and take two levels of wizard, for some reason the modded subclasses don't show up.

edit: also, could you perhaps someday, provide a patch for your heart of darkness feature so it works with the spell points mod?  this one

Tbh I've had some difficulty with some subclasses showing up since the patch. Larian added a way to add subclasses via progression without overriding each other so I'm going to update my mods to include that.

The spell point thing looks like it would be a headache honestly so I probably won't, but anyone who wants to patch it is free to.
