I was just thinking the same thing but then it gave me a mod idea: Any equipment that sets a character's stat to an uneven number should also give it Advantage. If it sets it to an even number, no Advantage bonus. That way that useless extra number actually has a use...

Hmmm, if I ever DM...I'm adding that as a house rule.
I specifically wanted it to be the same as the other high tier stat boosting pieces of gear (like the Amulet of Greater Health and the Gauntlets of Hill Giant Strength) cause I get real OCD about it lol. I imagine is so that you can't just get the max amount from an armor piece, but you'd have to ask Larian.
a good idea for a cheat mod, for classes that still want to be able to talk to things, wonder if it could be added to a instrument so it dose not take up utility from a good helmet.
I second this, great idea for an instrument, maybe a less used instrument as well as there are already a few lutes and lyres but not so many flutes, dums, violins with benefits. Would tie in nicely with some of the mods that allow you to all play new songs in a band.
oh wow, I never even thought of this but I like the idea, would also complement very well with a bard character. Will add an optional file for an instrument with the same passives when I get some free time :)
