I had this working the first time, but after a crash the chat is gone while other mods seem to be working. I suspect that the window is offscreen and I am unable to access it. I went as far to completely reinstall the game and mods, but the problem persists.
Could you tell me where the settings are saved locally so I can remove it and hopefully fix it by resetting the mod to the default settings?
Edit: settings (.json file) found in AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Script Extender\Data. Deleting it restored my settings. Leaving it up if someone else gets this problem lol
Amazing mod! Unfortunately people need to download script extender in order for it to work so its very hard to find players to join public lobby. I am still baffled that they havent implemented a text chat in a game where I can join random player lobbies. EU game devs are whack man Also if anyone is interested in a game with this mod enabled add me on this discord muze7.
Hi, i noticed youre very active in replying to comments. Your mod is posted in the mod manager for bg3 and i downloaded it but no chat window shows, my buddy who was playing with me says he has the chat window and can type but it doesnt get sent anywhere nor can i see it. i know you had said in a previous comment to someone you need some files or applications to make it work but they arent on the bg3 mod manager so im kinda lost, my knowledge toward mods is minimal but id love to get it figured out.
I downloaded it through Steam and while the chat window is there and works, I'am unable to move it. There is no settings button nor any ability to drag it to a better spot.
Also, did you download the mod through the in-game mod browser, or did you use the steps outlined in this mod page on Nexus Mods to install it?
Lastly, could you send a picture of what it looks like? Either imgur or DM me on here, or whichever is easiest for you! Just so I can get a better picture of what it looks like for you
I think you misunderstood, it's an alphabet, BG3 and BG3SE support Russian language and its alphabet, i was wondering why your mod doesn't and if there's any way to patch that myself.
Please please can you add a way to hide the text chat when hiding UI so we can take screenshots easily without it showing? It's the ONLY reason why myself and my hubby haven't used this mod to roleplay whilst playing! Thank you!
Oh my gosh you're literally the best!! I am really hoping some day soon there will be private servers for roleplay, this mod will become an absolutely NECESSITY! May I also make suggestions then to add commands such as /me for emoting so it removes the <Name>: so instead it would be something like:
Player types: /me does something something
and it shows up as:
Luna (character name) does something something
to make it more immersive? On top of that other games with chat boxes/roleplay options implemented /tell which completely removes the name to make it more story-like.

You're probably missing the Script Extender
I have a 4k monitor now! So that means I'll be able to properly debug 4k text chat! There should be no more 4k issues soon!
