Hello, I attempted to download the Bloodysun reshade, however the Niceguy raindrop were not showing up. Through some investigation, I have found out that the NiceGuy shaders have been scrubbed from reshade. Here is a link for follow up: Niceguy (Ehsan) has been kicked off the team
For clarity, Niceguy shaders will no longer able to be found or installed
I have an issue now with the bloodysun one, this effect [triune digital fantasy mlut] doesn't compile and refuses to work. Now reshade updated to 6.3.3. Even before it refuses to work D:
Hi! After updating ReShade to 6.3.1 and installing all the effects, the BLOODYSUN preset broke, for some reason all the installed effects suddenly turned on in it. I updated the version of both presets, and also added versions without the ADOF blur effect
I used mod (+ dark red dye in game) "Crowns of Nature" - https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/10004, but recently the page of this mod has stopped displaying, is hidden or deleted by the author, unfortunately. I am currently using a very old version of it, which downloaded a long time ago.
Hello!!! Sorry for not answering for a long time, I updated the presets for ReShade 6.3.1. In the BLOODYSUN preset, after the update, all the effects were enabled, so it began to work incorrectly. I also updated the UnderdarkKiss preset just in case. Also added versions without the ADOF blur effect.
Thank you very much, I'm glad you like it! The hair, for the two main Tav's here are taken from these modifications: 1) https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2982 + https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/5027

I have a huge pile of developments, ideas and drafts, but very little time for the final work, but I will try very hard, I already make a new scene and Reshade preset to it. Thank you so much!
I followed these steps and had no issues getting the files into reshader, but for some reason when I choose the underdark preset, it becomes superwarm and very orange/red instead of cooltown, what can I do?
Oh, yeah, of course! So many locations and scenes will look too red with this reshade, it does. These reshades are not universal and were created for a very limited type of scenes. The LUT file (texture file) contains a huge amount of red and magenta, because I made this reshade to kill the blue color near the Tree in the Underdark. You can use this reshade in locations and scenes where there is a lot of cool blue light to give the environment a more brown treatment. The red drowns out the blue, but if the location is red (Grimforge) or very warm, you'll have an oh-so-red hue. You can turn down the influence of the LUT file in the settings:
Select this CubeLUT3D.fx effect in the reshade - click the checkbox - turn it off and then click it again - turn it on and you will see the settings for this effect at the bottom. Move the LUT Intensity slider to the left to reduce the effect of the red tinted texture file.
Hi! I did everything as stated in the description, but for some reason the HOME button doesn't seem to work when I open up the game for BG3 unless it pans over to the character you're currently playing, is there a way you could make a video to input this? I am a visual learner so it's a little hard for me to understand :(
Hi! I'll explain everything in a moment. Perhaps later I will make a video with instructions. You don't have the HOME button working because you probably don't have the Reshade program installed, in which case the presets and their effects won't work. You need to go to https://reshade.me/ and download the Reshade program. It is absolutely free and officially supported. At the very bottom of the main page on the site, find the download version that supports all addons and plugins.
Download, unzip, run the exe file:
install the Reshade program: choose the version of the exe you have that runs the game from the bin folder. If you have an Nvidia video card, it will most likely be a dx11 process:
if you play on Vulkan, then, of course, choose Vulkan. If you are playing on Nvidia, you should choose direct x in both the game and Reshade:
Choose Update (or Install) ReShade and Effects
Next, during installation, select all the effects that are offered by checkboxes. But in addons/plugins select ONLY "IGCS Connector by Otis Inf" if you use Otis Camera:
Effects in ReShade program can be put on everything, addon only this one. Other addons may not be suitable for the game and cause crashes.
Ok, the program will install everything, click Finish. Unzip the archive with the reshade preset you downloaded here - "BLOODYSUN" or UnderdarkKiss" or both presets. Put the .ini files in the bin folder of the game: Baldurs Gate 3\bin, and the BrokenRose.cube file (LUT file with colors) in the folder with the game textures (usually this folder is located here: Baldurs Gate 3\bin\reshade-shaders\Textures).
Start the game. Wait for the game to install all the effects from Reshade. You will have lines at the top of the screen describing the process.
I already have different captions in my screenshot because I have everything installed, you will have a description that the effects are installed.
Press HOME , select the preset you need from the drop-down list (click right in the field I circled with a colored pencil), they are arranged alphabetically by name.
Look, each preset has some checkboxes for different effects. If you have blurred screen and letters, uncheck the ADOF effect (qUINT_dof.fx) If the presets seem very dark to you, you can uncheck ArtisticVignette.fx in the reshade settings. To disable raindrops in BLOODYSUN preset (colored circles) please uncheck NiceGuy RainDrops parameter (DynamicRaindrops.fx).
Hi! It worked! But unfortunately the CUBE file isn’t working for me, which is really weird because I have the broken rose texture in my reshades / textures file. So none of the things checked off for the colors/cube file isn’t popping up
Yes, most likely the checkbox on CubeLUT3D.fx effect is missing. Without going into the game, try to start the Reshade program again, click Update effects and Reshades, then, when the choice of effects appears, please look (poke everywhere where there are squares with selection, there inside will open small menus with internal effects, somewhere in them should be the effect CubeLUT3D.fx. You need to set it (activate the checkbox on such an effect) then Reshade will realize that it has such an effect and apply it. If I'm not mistaken you should look for "BX-Shade by BarricadeMKXX effects: CubeLUT1D.fx and CubeLUT3D.fx". These two .fx should be activated by checkboxes when updating effects.
Hi when i load up your preset i get these errors, i looked up the luts and they're ones i need to pay for . I was wondering if the presets actually use these or if i jsut installed something incorrectly
Hi! oh no, no, no paid presets are not needed. You don't need Triune Digital Fantasy MLUTs, and they cause an error because they are not used in that preset, or are not suitable for the game at all, or are not installed in your Reshade. A simple CubeLUT3D setting is used, you need to set it when you start the Reshade program (select the CubeLUT3D.fx effect checkbox there). This is the simplest effect that is free and works in any game when installed in Reshade. Then drag the "BrokenRose.cube" file to the textures folder. This will allow the preset file to "search" by name in the texture folder for the desired color scheme to give the hue on the screen. In the game, the reshade window (HOME button) needs this effect for LUT to work:

I have the latest reshade release with full addon support & dx11
But so far this is the only shader I see with this problem.
