I wouldn't mind finding a way to make it a full blown quest of some sort. Though I don't know if it would be the reward. maybe Aymr/Aredbhar/Failnaught are all hidden in the world in thematic places and if you show them to an NPC in act 3 you get the sword of the creator.
Hello! When I have the funds, I would love to commission Bernos for the other three main relics (Plus Shez' swords because I love them.) The main thing in the way aside from money would be wanting to make them useful and accurate in a way that works within Baldur's Gate that is within reason for a commission. Aymr here is really just a Balduran's Giantlslayer but with Raging Flame, which is just a renamed version of the Celestial Haste ability from Gontr Mael. For Rough ideas:
Areadbhar either has Atrocity as a passive that does the Giantslayer effect to Humanoids or as an attack with a wide range that does the same. Maybe it raises your STR and CON by 4 past cap, at the cost of 2 from each Mental Skill. Would be a D10(D8) Versatile to put it on par with the other weapons.
Failnaught does double damage to targets affected by flying. Falling Star/Wind Gods Whateverthefuck is a once per long rest ability that causes the user to dodge all attacks without fail for a round, but crits might throw a wrench into that idea. Gives advantage on sneak checks and maybe even Charisma checks just to really play into the "you're a schemer who plans ahead" thing.
Sothis' Whackin Spine- I mean the SotC, ideally would have extended range with reach. Ruptured Heaven would be a fun passive, adding your highest spellcasting modifier on TOP of Strength and Prof to every swing, but again could also be an ability that also has the giantslayer effect.
Shez Sword doesn't actually have a f*#@ing name because Sothis shits in my dinner yet again, but it would be the most simple one. 1d8, gives you 3m of movement speed if dual weilded and if i wanna REALLY make it busted, a free misty step every turn in battle.
I could keep going, but TLDR: Yes, i would love to add the other relics! But I'm broke as HELL, whoops!
