if you find a Trap that this Mod will not disarm & deactivate please tell me the name of it and where to find it. Now works on all traps and trapped objects like chests, coffins, and more. in the SE console is a Debug message of the Trap for sending it to me if issue with a certain Trap
This mod is very handy. The only problem I have with it is that it is too much of a show off. I would suggest no big bomb like noise, no Traps Begone text and just a simply puff.
Something is conflicting with this in my load order but I have many mods and not sure what it is. It was working before I added my classes, gear, spells and feat mods.
EDIT: It is working, but I do need to have a trap disarm kit and it isn't consumed.
no my mod never disarmed all traps in the area i think you used a similar mod in my opinion is better to click on the trap individualy as disarm all traps in the area let you get the fun
Doesn't work, neither does Locks Begone. Got the latest Script Extender that's suppose to work with patch 7. Other third party mods I use show up in the BG3 internal mod manager, but neither Locks Begone or Traps Begone does. Those mods however are installed AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods not the Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin folder.
tested it with 2 new games and ongoing works for me using bg3 mod manager ? are they disabled in the SE console it should say Traps begone ModVars.ModeDisabled = 0
I'm not using the BG3 Mod Manager since you in the description wrote how to manually install it, so I just assumed that would work. I didn't interpret it like BG3MM was a requirement. No other mods I use has that as a requirement. Any chance you'll get the mods to show up in the Larians internal BG3 mod manager? Definitively the most convenient way, with easy updates and more.
Just to clarify; you're installing Locks Begone and Traps Begone into the mods folder along with the other mods? Not in the bin folder in the installation directory, right?
This doesn't really seem to be working for me. When I click on a trap, it has the "trap disarmed" text above it, and the trap goes dark, but it still triggers when I go near it. Some examples would be blast traps, most recently in the Underdark, but it was in act I too, and repulsion traps. Is this how the mod is supposed to work or is there a bug/conflict I might be experiencing?
if you use BG3 Modmanager then go under 'Settings' 'Preferences' 'Script extender' and check 'create console' then you can after loading the game Alt Tab to the console and see the messages

This is the message. I am using Loviatars Claws, and those messages popped up after I triggered the trap after attempting to disarm it. Are they messing with each other? I tried keeping the character wearing them away from the area, but that message still popped up. Please let me know if this is what you needed.
yes this messages are needed as i dident check for , "Proximity_Explosive" traps now i have 2 choices to destroy the Trap or to remove the Trap i think i will remove the Trap and make a beta version so you can try it thanks for the messages
