Description:
Starting from 12 generation of Intel processors they add efficient cores along with performance cores. Sometimes games may delegate computation intensive tasks to e-cores what may cause stutters and fps drops especially on low TDP systems.
Mod automatically detects amount of p- and e-cores and sets correct process affinity mask to allow it use only p-cores.
Before using make sure your processor has e-cores!
How to install:
Manual:
1. Install Native Mod Loader;
2. Download this mod;
3. Move the file "ECoresExcluder.dll" into folder "..\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin\NativeMods\"
4. Run the game.
Vortex:
1. Install Native Mod Loader;
2. Install this mod with Vortex ("Mod Manager Download" button);
3. Double click the mod and in "Mod Type" field select "Engine Injector";
4. Click "Deploy Mods".
