Could you throw it into a NativeMods folder for the download? I'll be able to set it as an engine injector in Vortex and put it in the optional mods of my collection for anyone who may need it.
Is the Native Mod Loader really necessary...? I'm pretty sure the game executable will load any dll's placed into the bin folder, for example I have the dll for reshade in the bin folder and the game is loading ReShade just fine...
I am using Reshade 6.1.1 on Windows 11 with an i5 13600K and an RTX 3060
I will give it a try tonight and see if I can tell any difference without the Native Mod Loader, is there any way I can tell for sure whether the mod is working once the game is running?
First you should start the game and load a save file. Then in Task Manager you'll see that 8 (probably last) cores are idling while others are working, otherwise dll wasn't loaded. Also in Task Manager -> Details -> right click on bg3.exe -> Set Affinity you'll see process affinity. If all cores are selected, dll wasn't loaded.
Thanks for this. I was hopeful for a second, as I have frequent pauses during gameplay for no discernible reason, but since I have an i7-7820x my understanding this is not 12th gen or later so this wouldn't help. Is that correct?
Hi! Yeah, laptops in common are low TDP machines, but your processor has only p-cores. Intel started to add e-cores only from 12 generation. I've updated the description to clarify this moment.

Yeah, it should.
However, it's fine if I have no mods installed...
What are the specs of your PC (WIndows version, processor model, etc)?
It's an MSI Raider GE67HX 12UH Deluxe edition laptop
What ReShade are you using?
Upd:
I tested with reshade from https://reshade.me, the result is the same.

Yeah, you're right. it seems something else is causing your troubles.
