Allure - Stylish and diverse dyes
Allure is a dye collection comprising 42 unique vials, 55 if counting minor alts.
I am the kind of player who has almost every dye mod downloaded, spends 5 hours trying them on all my characters and party members, yet struggles to find my particular niche. That is how Allure came to be, about two months ago. It is my very first mod. Initially for my own characters, the project expanded and I decided to make dyes unrelated to them. I wanted to cover a wide range of palettes, from high to low contrast, light to dark, colorful to washed out. Hopefully you will find the perfect dye here?
This mod would have been possible, but would have taken me infinitely much longer if not for MANOLOV02's tool UTAM to which I swapped a quarter through. My biggest thanks to you for developing a tool to aid in visualizing and easily find in game references. It has saved me countless hours I would have otherwise spent coding manually and scratching my head over finding ingame icons, and I am eternally grateful.
The dyes will spawn in the infamous Tutorial Chest, hence I highly recommend using Wesslen's Tutorial Chest Summoning mod. I also recommend using Distinctive Dyes alongside Better Dyeing for lovely QOL features.

Allure was originally meant to release with custom dye icons using Distinctive Dyes' incredible template, but I ran into issues actually implementing them (invisible icons). When you have something like 55 dye entries no you don't want to spend 10 more hours trying to figure out why it isn't working after already pouring weeks just making said dyes, icons, previews, etc. I will update the mod with custom icons eventually, that is a promise.
I do not plan on integrating dyes in vendors' treasure tables, because it makes uninstalling the mod mid playthrough a very painful process (the mod uninstaller cannot delete the inventory of sellers in other regions, I had trouble in Act 3 for that reason when returning to Wyrm's rock), besides it makes vendors' inventories an eyesore.
If you want to uninstall the mod mid-playthrough, proceed using the Mod Uninstaller and read up carefully on its use and requirements. I am not responsible if you brick your saves.
Want to make your own dyes? I recommend using UTAM and its resources, reading AstralSprout's wonderful tutorial for a better understanding of your mod, checking out Padme4000's custom dye template and installing the Colors Reference Dye.
