     Known Issues and Workarounds

    0. Please make sure you are using the latest version before filing a bug report. It is also really helpful if bug reports include a script extender log or screenshot of the script extender window at the time the issue was encountered, along with as much information as possible to help me reproduce the bug. Vague non-specific reports without supporting evidence are hard to act upon and may be ignored. Also, please use English when submitting bug reports.

    1. Party members may cluster close to the Camp Caster when you select them, to the point where they appear to be standing on top of one another. You might find it easier to target spells by using portraits rather than trying to click on the world models of individual characters.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    QAre you going to upload this to Larian's mod page? Will it be available on consoles?
    A: Probably not because it makes use of the script extender to do things beyond what the official toolkit is capable of.

    Q: I can't find the spell. How do I use this?
    A: You probably didn't install the Script Extender properly. Go back and check that it is working.

    Q: How do I level up my Camp Caster(s) ?
    A: They will automatically change back into normal inactive party members whenever their "owner" levels up. You need to add them to your party temporarily to level them, after which they can be dismissed and made into Camp Casters again.

    Q: Can you add support for concentration spells or [insert non-standard feature here] ?
    A: No, this is a quality-of-life helper not a cheat mod. It should not allow for anything which you could not already do by tediously rotating Camp Casters in and out of your party.

    Q: Can I use this in multiplayer?
    AProbably, but I have not tested it.

    QIs this compatible with [insert favorite mod here] ?
    A: I run a relatively low-mod setup, mostly just cosmetic things like hair and outfits, so I probably don't know. Please try for yourself and tell me about incompatible mods. I will attempt to improve compatibility where possible in response to reports. See the known issues above for any specific known conflicts.

    Q: What version of the game and script extender are supported?
    A: As of writing, game patch 7 and script extender v20.

    I'm not sure how complicated it would be to implement, but it would be nice if you could add a "Gather Together" spell to the camp caster that would make everyone in camp come to their position for a short time so you could buff everyone much more easily (and with one casting, like making sure EVERYONE is in range of Hero's Feast, etc.)

      When you select the Camp Caster your whole party should come over to them. Is this not working for you, or are you talking about something else?

      It IS actually working very nicely for me.  My Dragonborn loves having his little kobold camp caster/potion maker~ 

      It WOULD be nice if everyone stayed gathered for a little bit longer before dispersing after you switch off of a camp caster, so you could still have time for a non-camp caster to cast a spell on everyone if you wanted.

      The current version should work fine with patch 6. The added fix for a patch 7 issue should not impact anything earlier.

    Whenever I try to use the spell on hirelings or anyone else it just says invalid target =/ installed through bg3 mod manger

      Make sure they are not in your party when you cast it.

      I have this problem too, it might be a conflict with some mods.

      I'm also having this same issue.

      Nevermind...failed to note in the description that it was for non-origin only. That explains why it wouldn't work on Gale. I'll try again on a hireling. Sorry about that.

    if you can only level/access their inventory when ur character levels up would that mean a character that is at level 12 would not be able to use a camp caster without respeccing at withers?

      If you want to access their inventory, recruit them back into your active party. Their inventory is only inaccessible in the camp caster state.

      Just a thought but would it be possible to create a "dismiss summon" option for the hireling or some kind of dispel option, similar to when you dismiss a concentration spell?  This would be more convenient rather than having to recruit them back into your party for inventory access.

    This looks AMAZING. Has anyone tested in multiplayer?

    Edit: I thought it wasn't working but if you load into save that's already at camp, you have to leave camp then return to camp and the ability will be added to your bar.

    So it seems to work in multiplayer, I can't use it on gale though since he's origin character which is unfortunate since he's the best one to have as a camp cleric since when he does warding bond he will auto heal himself in camp instead of dying to it

      I did consider allowing Origin characters but I got worried that it would mess with their cutscenes at camp and such.

      If I have chance to test it more I might add Origin characters support in a future version.
