THANK YOU SO MUCH I OWE YOU MY LIFE

i love everything about tactician/honour mode except radiant retort. f*#@ radiant retort. why is the worst mistake you could do bringing a light cleric or paladin to fight the cult of the goddess of darkness

Why would the cult of the goddess of darkness not be prepared for righteous Paladins and Clerics of other gods to come Smite them? Makes perfect sense that they have defence against it.

It does make sense, still pretty annoying to deal with though imo

I think the better way of implementation is radiant damage coming from non-paladin and cleric classes (non divine sources) suffer the full effect of the retort.

Whilst radiant damage coming from the chosen classes, it merely acts as a defence (i.e., negation).

Simply because you "prepare for something" doesn't mean you become super effective at it. Especially when you're supposed to be vulnerable against it.

Another instance where developers try to implement artificial difficulty. They not only reflect it, but reflect it twofold! ridiculous. Maybe for a being as powerful as Raphael it would be acceptable, but for random minions, nah.

So I just want to make sure here, is the Radiant Retort status supposed to still appear on enemies? Like underneath their names it's still listed but no longer seems to be doing anything, which is fine I just want to make sure that's how it should be working.

Correct, the status will still show. All this mod does is remove the reflect factor, not remove the status entirely.

i love how paladins get an inherent radiant damage rider to their attacks i love not being able to attack sharrans at all without killing yourself

thank you for the mod. most annoying mechanic i've ever seen. Sure they might be "prepared" for clerics and paladins but radiant retort is just the worst

Be careful if you're going into the fight in honor mode, I have no idea if the change I made will effect Fleeting Protection which is a different passive condition from the one I was targeting (and the one Raphael gives to his minions).

I would say fire damage is acceptable because you have many avenues to resist fire. You have absolutely none for force damage.

You realize only certain justiciar mobs are resistant to basically everything right? And they're only resistant to other damage types while obscured, the buff is called "Living Shadow"... try casting Light or Daylight.
