What is vengeful strike? if you mean vigilant defender, yes you do have to choose in 5e: You can use this special reaction only to make an opportunity attack, and you can't use it on the same turn that you take your normal reaction.
Sorry I don't know why I used such a fantastical term, I just meant when you hit someone with unwavering mark and they make an attack at your ally, you need to use your reaction to enable the special bonus action attack on your next turn, which conflicts with sentinel.
Im not seeing this... the use costs for all things associated with that ability do not contain your reaction point. Can you screenshot things in sequence please?
Here you go. Should I choose "Sentinel" as the reation, he makes a normal weapon attack, but on the dwarf's next turn he does NOT get the special bonus action attack. If I choose "Unwavering Mark Attack", THEN I gain the special bonus action attack on my next turn as expected, however, it uses my reaction.
Edit: I did some more testing, apparently if I tell the game NOT to ask me about the Sentinel attack, it works as intended. He makes the Sentinel attack AND the unwavering mark special attack is activated for my next turn.
Ah ... ok Do me a favor and stick the Mark interrupt back to not Ask? Its sort of meant to just happen in the background auto enabled... let me know if that changes things
yeah the interrupt system wont let you choose more than one at a time.. ill circle back to Mark and see if I can pull it out of the interrupt and in more of a passive instead... may not be possible though
Thanks. I was surprised how viable the subclass ends up being without a horse. Kinda cool mechanics to charge into the fray and lock down the battlefield
I am encountering an error where only 4 fighter classes seem to be showing up and of the 4 , 3 are the base classes. So i can only have one custom class at a time for some reason.
Please make sure CF is the last mod in your load order... that is what should fix it according to the person who I spoke to. I have an article on the mod that shows the proper load order
Unfortunately yes. I did everything right, the loading order is like the image in the description. But only the last subclass in the order of each class appears in the game along with the standard subclasses. If I put the Samurai last in the order of subclasses, this one appears. If I put Cavalier last, only this one appears. If anyone knows how to solve it, please let us know!
I discovered the problem and now it's working! I placed the "Mod Configuration Menu (MCM)" above the CommunityLibrary in the load order only. Now all the subclasses are there :) Thanks for returning my messages and thanks for your mods!
Thats one thing I likely will not do. I have so much content that maintaining different versions is too much overhead, and I really do like sticking to the source material :)
Not against it for personal use, but I dont endorse that being posted publicly because it breaks the intent behind what I made ya know? And then it opens up all sorts of weird things with bug reports etc - simply moving things in the progression table doesnt always make the abilities work... some things I have manual checks for character/class levels inside the data... so it could become a mess.
This looks great to fulfill the ''tank'' roll in a party since the abilities seem to favor the protection of others and preventing enemies from reach your allies. Thanks for the mod!
Yeah my game wont even let me start a new game, have impUI and CL at the start, then 5e spells then CF. Idk what im doing wrong but im guessing if i cant even run the requisits i cant run your mods either =(

It's worth mentioning I didn't have it set to ask me about the mark, JUST sentinel, but it prompted both anyway
However, when I had Sentinel on "ask", I guess it saw that there was multiple options and you could decide, and thus, it only used one of them.
I really like what you've done with this!
