it doesn't seem to work with custom magic weapons (that have "DefaultBoosts" already written in their code) i still haven't found a way to do it properly without manually editing the code of such weapons so it may not work on some modded stuff
After much playing around with this mod I have learned a way for it to hide modded weapons in dialogue (the ones that are coded in a way that makes this not cover them).
You need the Transmog Enhanced mod by Eralyne, just FYI!
1. Take a regular vanilla weapon and transmog it into the look of your modded weapon.
2. Now take your modded weapon and transmog it to look like your Transmogged Vanilla Weapon from step 1.
3. Now you can use the modded weapon but something changes in the code that makes it hidden in cutscenes with this mod.
No, I want armor to be seen during cutscenes, which is not possible, you only see the costumes of the characters.I mean, this mod also makes it possible to see the weapons during cutscenes, what I would like would be to see the armor as well, because there are in-game armors that are much more aesthetically pleasing than various outfits. What's an example of a hidden armor? Do you mean camp clothes? There are no armors that are visible outside of combat but hidden in cutscenes as far as I am aware.
Dahlia Dress ' the mod: Celestial Threads ' unfortunately it is an armor, not a dress and as a result, I can't get it to appear during the various cuscenes
if it uses the camp clothing slot, i'm pretty sure you can use transmog or cosmetic slots and you can make the camp clothes be shown instead of armor in vanilla game. when i did that it always showed the camp clothes, not the armor my characters were wearing
just adding HiddenDuringCinematic() to DefaultBoosts should do the trick. and i was trying to figure out if i can use script extencer to make it compatible with everything and also got an advice on how to edit the mod to make it work on all weapons without editing all DefaultBoosts lines, but couldn't make it work properly (some weapons were still unaffected) i guess for now i can just manually add some lines and publish what i have. untill i figure out a better way to do this
Unfortunately, this mod doesn't seem to work for me. It says it's active and everything in mod menu but the weapons are still there in the cutscenes. Perhaps it only works if you do a fresh start game? I added it about an hour into gameplay.
which weapons do you use? i can look them up and check what's wrong and no, it should work right away. i've made and installed the mod mid-playthrough, so it worked for me
I'm using the weapons from the Basket Full of Equipment. Now, they have not updated as of now because it still works. However, it very well could be the reason it's not working. Something worth investigating since I know it's a popular mod.

you can try putting my mod lower to see if it helps. And if not, then autor possibly had [data "DefaultBoosts"] written in each weapon's stats and a boost that hid weapons in cutscenes was overwritten by it If author is still active i guess i can ask if i can make a patch of some kind
I can definitely give that a go! I'll edit my post if that works. If it's the Mod issue thing, I think I read the author had stepped away for a bit but I'll still endorse/use the mod with other equipment and see if it works. Appreciate you looking into this!
Nimawhe, OliviaStormborn i've asked the author if i can include "basket of equipment" weapons into the mod and when/if i get the confirmation, i'll release a fix asap

hello, in the description it says it should work with modded weapons, but so far every modded weaepon ive used has always been visible in cutscenes. the vanilla ones are gone, but 100% of modded still show. am i doing something wrong?
looks like it depends on a mod and the way the weapon is defined. for now i know that it doesn't work on weapons from "basket of equipment" and i'll release a fix when author responds to me which oher mods you're having issues with?
ive tried basket, which as u said doesnt work, and as far as i can tell every weapon from karneth's many mods. i have them all installed and i havent found one yet that works with removing from cut scenes kharneth's Profile | Nexus Mods

Edit : apparently it works in some cutscenes but not in all.
