    Hello,

Thanks for the fun mod :)

I have it working with 5e spell as long as it's loaded after 5e spell.
The initial lvl 1 spell is also Inflict wounds as intended, however the draconic ancestry text still reads for acid damage, is this only a text issue? or an issue with the mod itself?
I have not gone further than character creation and loading in the nautiloid.

    Cheers,

Does not appear to be working currently, after hotfix #10.  Mod worked before most resent patch but after removing it and reuploading it, it does not show up in game.

Does not work with 5e Spells. Which is a shame because this a great mod, but if I have to pick I prefer 5e spells.

Now when you say "Does not work with 5e Spells", what does that mean exactly? Does it ctd? Do all of the spells from the 5e spells mod magically disappear?

Yeah, as far as I can tell any mods that alter available spells will overwrite each other, doesn't seem to be a way around that. But you could delete the Lists/SpellLists.lsx file from this mod and then things should work with your other mod. You will lose the necromancy spells that I added for Sorcerer, but maybe your other mod adds in more options anyways.

There is certainly a way to make it compatible. I was going to swap from Shadow Sorc (which is compatible with 5E Spells) to this, but losing 5E spells is non-negotiable. Sad since I love the flavor of this. :/

Let me know if it's ever made compatible.

Strangely - The cantrips seem to work from 5E Spells...

if 5e spells is loaded after, it overwrites this mod's Lists/SpellLists.lsx, disabling the spellbook changes this mod makes and changing the text of the black dragon ancestry back to acid.

However, everything else still works, at level six dealing necro damage properly triggers the reaction and the resistance to necro damage.

I'm having a problem with the black dragon reverting back to (acid) everything else about the mod seems to be working.

It'd be just for fluff and probably not worth the hassle, but do you think it would be possible not to change the black dragon bloodline but instead make either an additional draconic bloodline with Shadowdragon as heritage... lore-wise that would fit much better to the necrotic/undead/negative energy stuff...

Or alternatively make a completely different bloodline with Shadow as the base descriptor? or something else even, that fits necromancy as well...?

But I guess it was just the easiest way to change an existing bloodline instead of creating additional ones...

Also I love that you went for the balanced approach... I don't get why people are so often over-buffing characters/classes in their mods...

Cool mod! Love it! :D No more boring tempest stuff for me! :D

Does this include the Necromancer dialogue tag? I've done a Draconic run and while their dialogue is great it'd be nice to see the unique Necromancer options without having to play wizard.

I'm not sure if that can be done, looks like you'd have to add the tag for all Draconic Bloodline sorcerers... Maybe I will try that out though.

      I'd second that :D
Even if it is for all the bloodlines... I guess that would be acceptable... probably only a problem in MP with multiple sorcerers or if you play multiple campaigns with multiple sorcerer characters... Also you usually don't use your party members to talk too often...

I'd also have a suggestion but I'll put it in a different comment... :)

Please may you do this exact same change to Gold making it Radiant?.

    • Gold Draconic bloodline (not Dragonborn though) now gives a damage/resistance boost for Radiant instead of Fire
    • Gold Draconic bloodline also gives Guiding Bolt and Sacred Flame Cantrip as a starting spells instead of the original spell
    • Adds Moonbeam, Spirit Guardians, Guardian of Faith , Flame Strike, Destructive Wave and Planar Ally, to the list of available Sorcerer spells as you level up
    • Adds a Radiant version of the Elemental Adept feat

    Truly Perfect.

Not to forget to mention it covers all bases too in spell progression for Radiant Damage while leveling,
    - Cantrip Sacred Flame
    - lvl 1 Guiding Bolt
    - lvl 2 Moonbeam and Spiritual Weapon
    - lvl 3 Spirit Guardians
    - lvl 4 Guardian of Faith
    - lvl 5 Flame Strike and Destructive Wave
    - lvl 6 Sunbeam (already a Sorcerer Spell), Planar Ally for Deva

Planar Ally to the list for the Deva so theirs 2 lvl 6 spells to choose from as Necrotic has Circle of Death (already a Sorcerer Spell) and Create Undead. Both Draconic Bloodlines get a Damage Spell and Summon at the final levels!.

Essentially it’s the same as your Necrotic Draconic Bloodline but gives Radiant spells and Draconic Bloodline lvl 6 the Elemental Affinity : Damage and Resistance applies to Radiant and the Elemental Adept feat having Radiant is definitely a welcomed bonus.

Works great as a counter part to Necrotic, both Necrotic and Radiant both missing from the Draconic Bloodline. I understand everything is easier said then done but it be absolutely amazing to finally have a Radiant focused caster!.

What do you think? Any hopes this may come true?.

I have and it’s great but like you’ve mentioned it gives extra power and slight game breaking, but like in your Necromancer Sorcerer Mod it’s far more Balanced and perfect, you really did it great, it’s basically plain Sorcerer with a Necrotic focus with added spells to fill in the gaps of the lvl progression, which I think is perfect and very balanced especially on Tactician that’s why I was hoping for a Radiant Version basically mimicking everything you’ve done but for Radiant like the example I’ve given.

It’s really a great vanilla-esque play through. Plain Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer Radiant focused.

Not to forget to mention the elemental adept feat is a very great addition as well and has been well received.

Is it possible just to set up the subclass and Elemental Adept to be Radiant? I’m guessing adding the spells will be a lot more time consuming, just convert Gold to be Radiant and give Guiding Bolt and its features to effect Radiant and the Elemental Adept to include Radiant? cause I can get the spells from other mods just need the Subclass and Feat converted. Is this possible?

Ooooh this is cool, especially the necrotic adept feat.

Adding to my list of necromancy mods!
