Hey there! In case anyone's wondering, this mod works just fine with patch 8! Download the new Imp UI (it's a slim version that gives time for the other mod authors to make alterations, if they choose to). Please send love to both of these authors and be patient! They already know the patch is up, so give them time to work on it. Kudos to everyone! Here is my beautiful tav. List of mods used (all working on patch 8):
When does the loading occur? Is it when selecting a color? There is a very brief moment of loading when the colors are displayed, but it shouldn’t be noticeable.
Does disabling this mod resolve the load time issue? If you don’t mind, could you create a new profile, compare it with the vanilla case (no mods at all) and the case with only this mod enabled, and report back to me? I would appreciate it.
bro is complaining about a 2second loadtime while EDITING his character and loading up almost 2000 colours. what has society become? pls do not look into this dear author. maybe his hardware is just bad, people have to learn patience. its 2 seconds my god thanks for this good mod <3
it's not 2 seconds, i have to wait 10-15 seconds when going to character customization, and if i change body types, granted I'm going to keep this mod installed because i love it.
In my environment, I have not experienced any issues with longer load times or performance degradation, so if this mod is indeed causing the load time issues, it might be due to conflicts with other mods or the PC specifications. As I mentioned previously, for anyone experiencing load time issues, I would appreciate it if you could create a new profile using BG3MM or Vortex, compare the load times in a vanilla state and with only this mod enabled, and then let me know the results.
I love these colors. (Unfortunately its just too many for me, but hopefully in the future splitting them into hair appropriate, and maybe like different groups would be great). but its so beautifully arranged!
About 5 days ago I started using several of your mods, and I am amazed at how organized and good they are.
The question I am about to ask may seem as strange, and it is fully possible that it is linked to how I have my graphics set in game. But when I started my current character, I used the black from Wolf's Goth Hair Colors, which I have used so far if I wanted my character to have black hair. And then I tried the black from your mod, and to me it seemed less black to me? (I told you it would be strange.) If that hair colour from the previously mentioned mod is indeed a deeper colour black, do you think you could add that same colour to your mod in the future?
That particular colour from that mod is the only reason so far why I still have it installed. If it is the same then I guess somehow, my graphic settings make the first one look deeper than your colour black. And then I will learn to live with it, and I can get rid of that mod and only use your mod.
Thank you <3 Since this mod does not include hair color, have you selected black from a different mod, or vanilla black? What is included in this mod are the highlight and graying colors, which I have confirmed is the exact same density as the black in Wolf's Goth Hair Colors. They are probably the same color code, so the graphics settings should not matter.
I made the mistake of picking the black from the default game, and somehow must have thought it was from your mod. And I should have known it was default because the colours from Wolf's mod have the name “wolf” in front of the colours. And yours are also easily marked. (Damn, I need glasses.)
As for the Highlight and greying colours, I think that under one of those Wolf's colours go away, (Or were never there, and is more proof for glasses.) and in the other they exist together with all of your colours. Either way, your mod is present in all categories that you mention.
Haha, I'm glad you figured out the cause ;) Regarding the highlight, if you check the box for all highlight colors, you should be able to see the colors from Wolf's mod as well.
Thank you <3 For hair color, if I also include the color combinations with the eyebrows and eyelashes, the number of variations would increase fourfold compared to this mod. I think that would be too many options, so if I were to create one, I might separate the files by vivid and dull colors, for example.
