i play the game on the ps5 is there anyway that you could make it and or submit it to and onto mod.io for approval or whatever is needed so that i could use it
I am trying to dye the Eternal Desert clothes to blue/white. I noticed that on every dye used, it only partially change the clothes color. There is a base Red dye that never seems to change. Is it intended ? Is there something I'm missing that allows to fully dye the clothes and not just part of it ?
Hi, I think you meant to comment on vol. 2 which is where that outfit is located -- please see the mod description there for notes on dyeing.
Edit for fuller explanation:
I have manually drawn dye channel mappings for all the items in the Deepspace collections, so dyeswill affect them in BG3. However, the texture assets from LaDS are intended to function very differently from how the BG3 graphics engine handles shading, so the colors are mostly baked in -- this is why I have made both dark and light options of some outfits, because the textural properties are different (MC's white dragon outfit has pvc areas where the dark version is cloth, etc.) and the dyeability also changes dramatically.
Unfortunately because it is a mobile game there is not always enough resolution in the images for me to push them to be as dyable as BG3 assets typically are. For this reason I have included a note in the mod description of both volumes about how everything is dyeable, but dark items will work better with very light dyes and may only tint, versus light items which function more like you are used to.
Thank you for providing so many details in your answer! It turns out after a reload and exiting the Nautiloid dyes behaved a bit more like you would expect.
Hi, outfits are gorgeous, but I noticed that when my Durge has their first scene on the bedroll there's a large, weird triangular thing that sticks out of her legs.
They aren’t because the bodies are very differently proportioned between games, causing body parts to not be in the same places — therefore mixing these assets with vanilla would not work well.
In this mod I overall kept the proportions from LaDS, but may release future accessory packs that are fitted to work with vanilla (like the affinity rings mod.) However it is unlikely I can successfully do this for entire outfits at scale.
I m really looking forward to it :) I keep an eye on it and youre profil. Thank you for youre work! Beside I "cant" use this gorgeours sets, it its beautiful!
