    Q: How to upgrade equipment?
    A: Using the dedicated ability, it's unlocked when you have Fervor.

    Q: How do I gain Fervor?
    A: Use the Sword Dancer's Grace action in combat to gain Grace, then have some left at the end of combat. Then, remaining Grace will automatically be converted to Fervor.

    Q: How does Grace work?
    A: You gain 3 when initating the dance. Then you gain 2 for melee weapon attacks you land, 1 for spells you land, and 1 for dodging incoming attacks and spells. You lose 1 Grace when struck.

    I noticed in the tooltip that the harmonious song would heal followers of the good drow god, but does that specifically mean you have to be a cleric of her? I'm not getting the healing at all while it's up.

      You have to worship her, yes. Whether as a cleric, or as any class if you use Deity Tag Activator. It's not about race, but about actual deity choice. For example Minthara is Lolth-sworn, but doesn't worship her, she worships the Absolute, then becomes faithless if you recruit her.

    Does this mod work properly on a current save or do I have to start a new character?

      It kinda works. You'll need to generate a new sword to get the updated stats for it (using console commands or EasyCheat). The other items will spawn regardless.

    hey there, i'm back again

    just wanted to say - the new mechanics are BASED

    they're not only super fun, but they really make Phalar Aluve stand out. The extra moves and the upgrade system really make it the legendary sword it should have been, and the additional moves added really flesh out the way a bladesinger is *supposed* to fight like. thank you for this mod. 

    Small request to change the icons of the sword to the default ones Phalar Aluve ones, if you choose that optional file(s).

    the light armor version seems to be not working with hotfix 30 plz help

      Patch 8 in general and hotfix 30 in particular cause way too many issues.
      I'll try and see what I can do on the weekend with the helpful souls on my Discord. 
      Maybe revert to patch 8 if you can, or even patch 7 if want a stable version.

    "Hello, yesterday everything was working fine when I was playing with this mod. However, today I noticed that after combat ends, the effect  (Sword Dancer’s Grace) persists indefinitely without a duration timer and does not get added to  (Sword Dancer’s Passion). Additionally, the following error appeared in the console:

      Hello! This error in console is caused by said mod (Oath of Conquest), and it's possible the error prevents my script to convert Grace into Fervor. I suggest you contact the author of that mod to troubleshoot the issue. 
      For a quick fix, you can try to respec to another class and see if it works properly.

    Yo, Siaell. It's been ages :)) I've found the boots but... even though I can see them in the inventory, I don't see them after putting them on. I did a few, let's say, recommended procedures in such cases. And nothing. I didn't find the described situation in the posts so... I'm letting you know but not deleting. I'm determined to use its benefits if not now then later. CU

      Hey! As stated in the description, items are mostly meant for bodytype 2.
      On other bodytypes you'll have to transmog most of them for an appearance.

    Hi awesome mod, my favourite for any weapon so far. However could you post the items ID's on the description page or something? I forgot to claim the reward for saving halsin and i did not enter druid's vault so i can't get my boots TT It would be great if you could add them. Thank you for this mod

      Hey, I recommend using EasyCheat instead of relying on authors to provide uuids, it's easier to use and you're no dependent on knowledge :)

    I tried the mod out, and though I found the new mechanics fascinating, I dislike the sword itself, now. Tried transmogging it to a proper longsword/bastard sword, but it's weird seeing something that big slung on the hip.

    I'm trying to disable the mod but it corrupts my save and the save will only load if I have the mod enabled.

    How can I uninstall your wonderful mod?

      There are optional files to keep the original apperance and optionally animations (which include weapon placement on the back instead of the hip). 
      Uninstalling mods midgame is generally a no-go. It depends on what they do, but in this case it's out of the picture, sorry. There may be a possibility if you remove and delete all items affected, but I'm not sure it would be enough to be safe, so I'd recommend either to use the right file that suits you, not use the sword, or start a new game without the mod.

      I recommend you give the Versatile and Original Apperance addon a try.

      I guess I'll learn to love it and see if I can just make it more to my liking by messing with the stats.

      You should probably put up a disclaimer in the description that it might be difficult to uninstall mid-playthrough, for us honour mode junkies!

      So, I already had the 'original' minimod active. Trying to switch to 'versatile and original' is causing the same issue. Looks like it's locked in, no matter what, which is a real shame.

      Leave it in then. Load Main file, then Original, then Versatile and original, it should overwrite it and allow you to keep playing.
      The disclaimer wouldn't hurt, but it's common knowledge that most mods are not meant to be removed mid-game. Those that are say so, but default assumption is you can't/shouldn't. 
      Hope that'll work out for you.

    hey, question regarding the animations in combination with the bladesinger class:
    - in the current, normal version of the mod, which animations would it use for a bladesinger? Becuase an optional mod changes its animations to the longsword animation. Does this mod use unique animations which would overwrite the bladesingers new animations?

      Hey, what this mod does is make the sword use the rapier animation set, so it won't override class animations and whatnot. 
      The addon just reverses that to longsword animation set.

      how could one change it to have the Longsword animation set? Or at least, sheathing position? I'm not too bad with unpacking .paks, mind.

      As for rapier animation sets, they look fab as bladesinger, very dancer-y with a high leg kick and a spin, but I need that hefty meaty longsword charm xD

    Hello, Im the one having trouble with grace not turning into fervor. After I load some new mods, grace stop turning into fervor after combat again. I tried something and cant make it be right again. I have some idea about how to prevent this bug, but it may cost your time, and due to my problem may not be common, its up to you whether this should be accepted. Just ignore me if you dont agree.

    I think you can stop the grace turning into fervor automatically after combat is over. Instead, let the sword has a spell turning grace into fervor. Since some related items will have extra effect when having grace, this will make battle more convenient, free from not having enough grace at the start to enjoy equipments benefit. This will also fix the grace bug in the easiest way.

    This advice is just personal, and might break your initial design. No matter either you decide to do so or not, your mods are great and fun.

      I will resort to that if the issue grows in frequency, so far it's been quite rare and other users have found that it fixed itself at some point, relaunching the game maybe. A couple comments below you'll find such feedback.
