Took a while to figure out but I finally was able to learn VANILLA shadow strike with this mod installed.
Steps: 1. Use converterapp to extract the .pak file of this mod to a folder called ShadowNinja 2. Within the ShadowNinja folder navigate to Public\Shadow_Ninja\Progressions\Progressions.lsx 3. Open Progressions.lsx with a text editor 4. You will see a block of text that looks like this near the top <node id="Progression"> <attribute id="Level" type="uint8" value="3"/> <attribute id="Name" type="LSString" value="Shadow"/> <attribute id="ProgressionType" type="uint8" value="1"/> <attribute id="Selectors" type="LSString" value="AddSpells(70167484-22bc-4f22-abde-344b1189c4a1)"/> <attribute id="TableUUID" type="guid" value="6e1a1046-1202-410b-9d80-91c819a8bcca"/> <attribute id="UUID" type="guid" value="077e6458-3b93-4820-88a7-bd7c9babbeae"/> </node>5. Delete that section and replace it with this <node id="Progression"> <attribute id="Level" type="uint8" value="3"/> <attribute id="Name" type="LSString" value="Shadow"/> <attribute id="ProgressionType" type="uint8" value="1"/> <attribute id="Selectors" type="LSString" value="AddSpells(70167484-22bc-4f22-abde-344b1189c4a1);AddSpells(6c0c93e7-d43a-43ca-8f36-43eff7a5ccdb)"/> <attribute id="TableUUID" type="guid" value="6e1a1046-1202-410b-9d80-91c819a8bcca"/> <attribute id="UUID" type="guid" value="077e6458-3b93-4820-88a7-bd7c9babbeae"/> </node> 6. Save changes to Progressions.lsx. 7. Go back to converterapp and select the ShadowNinja folder to make a new pak. Name the new pak whatever you want, maybe ShadowNinjaEdited 8. Uninstall the original Shadow_Ninja and install your new ShadowNinjaEdited (it will still show up as Shadow_Ninja in the mod manager)
This will add shadow strike at level 3, which is obviously not intended but it works so I'm more than happy. If you have a problem with that just take it off your hotbar and add it back at whichever level you feel like.
That Shadow Arts: Darkness Sense. I feel should be a passive instead of an action. He is trained in the shadow so he should be able to see in it as well.
I just downloaded the mod but I cant see find any new ablilities. I m using BG3 mod manager. Class is Monk. Even I go to Withers and wash my point, I cant see new powers. Anything i could do for that?
First of all, great job! But i think shadow monk is already imbalanced class even in vanilla. So with this mod i think we definitely should use something like "stronger bosses and enemies" and "tactician plus" and play it solo. It is so overpowered. Very great idea with combos. Super nice! Will see your other reworks.
With all of your other reworks i think we need 20 lvl mod to make good multiclass. So, can you suggest what exactly mod fits better?
And may be I misunderstand something but it seems like there is no finishing move after using shadow strike...
Upd. Just realized that it is not works bcz of "asking" when sneak attacking. Turned off "asking" and finishing move appears...
Hey, love this mod & really appreciate the work you have done for the community. but just joining in mentioning the level 7 passive and level 8 shadow strike doesn't seem to be granted to the class anymore (so not just not working but you don't even receive them on the level up screen) is there any chance this could be looked at please
Hi, I am using this with alternate monk, and I put this mod after alternate monk, everything works fine except I can't get shadow strike, whether at lvl8(this mod)/lv10(Alternate monk)/lv11(Vanilla)
hi, this mod looks awesome. it works well, until level 8, where i discovered shadow strike to not be working. hoping you could fix this, because so far, this is one of the best reworks i played.
