    could u do a tutorial chest version? I dont know how to use cheat engine. I solve the quest and it didn't give me the equipment

    Hi! Is it possible to make a mod that adds this staff to the tutorial chest? I chose a different quest reward and can't now receive this item.

    Hey, BlackZer0! Cool idea. When I downloaded this mod I had some questions about how it was implemented by you. Tested it myself real quick so hopefully other people will see this.

    With this mod Spellsparkler gives you an abillity to cast Lightning Bolt that uses Wisdom for DC (I believe normal Lightning Bolt uses Spellcaster's ability)
    It does not have cooldowns (short/long rest) like other items but it does use your own lvl3 spellslot which I guess makes it balanced.
    In essense this mod will give you lvl3 Lightning Bolt without you needing to prepare/learn it. 

    Couple thing to the author: It would be cool to remove Wisdom DC and let us use spellcasters modifier instead like the real Lightning Bold, as well as let us use the spell once per Long Rest since its quite a powerful spell.
    Also If anyone had issues with loading the mod into BG3modloader, its because the mod is also packed into a folder which prevents BG3modloader from loading it, just grab the mod out of the zip. Cheers.

      I dont find a reliable way to use spell caster ability for DC. but i can create optional files for other DC options.

      Done in 1.1 Version

      I am new to modding and don't know about other managers. I have checked with vortex and it worked with that. if you can point me to documentation then i can look into it.

      Sorry, I'm not knowledgeable about this. All I know is that it gives an error message saying that it can't be imported and that the file "might be locked by another process". No idea...

    Hey,

    I installed your mod, only to find out the Lightning Bolt from the staff costs a spell slot as per usual, except most often magic items that give access to spells  like these have these spells not cost any spell slots to use, which is the entire appeal of using such an item anyway. Right now this mod doesn't add much for a sorcerer or wizard who can pick Lightning Bolt anyway. Could you perhaps release another version of the mod that makes the Lightning Bolt from the staff not cost any spell slots but only being able to be used once per short/long rest? Or maybe even a version without any such cooldown for those that want to be truly OP early on?

      lmao I had the same querry minute apart from you. IMO it does add something in a way because now you dont have to slot the spell for Wizards and Clerics

      To be honest, I stand with SirGoodnight when it come to items with spells they only cost an Action point and no Spell point, but in my case it doesn't matter in anyway in combination with the infinite mod I don't lose spell points at all.

      well yeah then the whole point is moot for you since action economy doesn't affect you at all

    Would it be possible for you to add the spellspakler to a merchant because I took too long to do the quest and the building burned down so I'll never be able to get it.

      Just so you know, you can use CheatEngine (or the script extender with console) to spawn in items with their UUID
