-everyone polymorph into chickens. they can peck each other and every time one gets hit or gets scared etc. it lays an egg. -a chaotic version of musical chairs where everyone except one person swap places, be i tfriend or foe. -i don't know how feasible this is, but something that makes everyone float for a few turns? or maybe just people randomply flying around with no control of where they're landing (but i'm guessingit could get people stuck out of reach) -it starts to rain, except instead of water it rains fishes and addled frog (the angry version) and/or dead/ rotten stuff hitting people that may deal a bit of damage -a similar effect to the gremishkas splitting, except the people/summons are splitting into possibly smaller version (with all the advantages/disadvantages) and 1d4 of new copies instead of just 2. if they split into small, hitting them has a chance to split the small into tiny, etc. that scene in the army of darkness with many tiny bruce campbells comes to mind... -or everyone just splits into 5 rats and you need to manually whack all 5 to go back to normal like a certain rat encounter in the game. but make all groups of rats still act on the relative players turn -or just split everyone into random familiars/small creature forms, like rat, cat, frog, crab, spider, crow. -create an area with bubbles that have some random effects like the spores clouds/befuddled, laughing, confused, blind etc. nothing lethal, just chaotic -make everyone proficient in performing and they either play an instrument or whistle for one turn and even enemies can join in with the same tune -make gold coins rain, but if a big quantity hits someone they can damage them. the coins stay and can be picked up later on -eveyone spontaneously summon a mage hand -everyone gets a random quantity of gruel or other healing item in their inventory, or alternatively everyone gets some random number of poisoned apples or suspicion poison (the one that intentionally looks like a healing potion as a "prank") -everyone swaps a random category of item with someone else, friends and foes alike can end up with someone else's weapon/armor/shield(if any)/helmet/musical instrument/boots/undies (this might make some npc non-lootable items available when it's not supposed to and break the game, though) -everyone becomes bald for one turn (and hopefully can get unique lines for it - i dunno, the idea of a shart or astarion realizing their luscious locks have gone is just hilarious to me) or if you want to be a big meanie, you can make it permanent until the get access to remove curse -reminiscent of both Edwina and the cursed belt i gave to imoen on my first baldurs gate 1 run more than 20 years ago: everyone gets a different gender/body type for 10 turns or until remove curse (petite femme halsin and big muscular gale with boobies incoming) -everybody gets drunk and a random alcohol bottle appears in their inventory -everybody knows how to use and can only use vicious mockery or some other form of insult for a few turns -everybody gets a random scroll in their inventory. maybe make them all the same level so it's not too unfair? -everybody gets clown makeup (maybe this already exists?) -everybody replenish a random spell slot/ability -everybody can only shove each other for a few turns
As suggested by you, I wanted to provide to you a list of wild magic effects that may or may not be usable in baldurs gate, all of these effects are in 'The Net Libram of Random Magical Effects' from the Purdue Fantasy Club and would be indebted to you if one day all of these (or at least many of these) are added to the mod.
I would lovingly dedicate 10 Gb on my SSD to the programming of wacky, zany, and whimsical abilities if this were to be the case.
Cool mod, but the dance party while, funny at first, has been super annoying as since it makes the barbarian dance too it basically just wastes your rage and just wastes time since no one can do anything. Any chance of getting this mod without that 1 effect? Or make the barbarian unaffected by the dance?
I like the mod, but having my Barbarian get stuck dancing for 2 rounds ends up wasting her rage unless an enemy manages to attack or provoke an attack of opportunity before it ends.
If it's possible, I think it would be nice to make barbarians immune to this one effect entirely. Barbarians in 5e are supposed to be immune to things like charm, so it would make lore, and balance sense in my opinion.
If you think that's a bit too much, you could make them have to roll a wisdom save. Not a hard one I imagine, given that it's a dump stat.

-reminiscent of both Edwina and the cursed belt i gave to imoen on my first baldurs gate 1 run more than 20 years ago: everyone gets a different gender/body type for 10 turns or until remove curse (petite femme halsin and big muscular gale with boobies incoming)

I'm playing a wild magic solo run but also playing a multiplayer run and wanted to know if it was safe to uninstall and reinstall constantly

Would it be better if the Barbarian version just affected everyone except you?

Either of these two would be great.
