"Use Highest Modifier Mod" automatically adds skill buffs when you enter a conversation.
"Use Highest Charisma Skill" automatically adds charisma skill buffs when you enter a conversation.
The above two versions should be safe to uninstall but might not work properly in multiplayer.
"UHMM with toggle and compatibility" requires you to cast a spell (find it in your character sheet if not automatically added) before entering dialogue, that grants a long rest buff that automatically adds skill buffs when you enter a conversation.
That long rest buff can be dispelled with the associated spell.
I think this version should work in multiplayer now, too. (needs testing in 3-4 player games - let me know if you have any issues)
However, I can't guarantee this one is safe to uninstall (don't make this a habit during your playthroughs anyway) since it modifies the abilities (like jump, throw, sneak, dip) that all characters get, and I know that bad things happen if the game isn't able to find missing skills.
"UHMM with toggle" in the archives is as above, but is less compatible with other mods. Going to mention it just in case there are issues with the above version that I somehow brought back.😅
hi, im having trouble with the UHM version (no toggle) in multiplayer where only the host benefits from the assistance, even though every player has the mod. The only mod installed is this mod. Thanks!
how much work do you think it would be to have it automatically use the character with the highest ability score, example instead of showing your lead character opening that sealed book, Gale is seen opening it, and it swapping back to lead character for the next dialog?
you figure they would have made this possible in vanilla, (Arcane check) (hand to Gale) "looks like magic, would you take a look at this Gale?" then a little scene of your character handing it to Gale and him doing the role, play a little success or fail scene with him handing it back, "there we go" or "not my best of efforts" you know? lol
Solasta was another 5e D&D game based on the free ruleset that came out a year(?) or so before BG3. In my opinion it was okay, there's a sequel in the works now.
luckily script extender is a drag and drop, Which all BG3 players should do. There are a few BG3mm mods that require script extender. Sadly consoles wont get that treatment
That's what happens when you let a corporation fully dictate how the hardware you paid for handles it's files. Console is your straitjacket by design. But you guys are crazy enough to voluntarily wear it and then complain to others about how uncomfortable it gets.
I just want to be able to use nothing but the in game manager. And since me posting this, people have made things others on here say is impossible, possible. Negativity and attitude gets everyone nowhere.
I recently installed this mod on 2/8/2025 but it seems it no longer works. You get an ability that enables assistance in dialogue checks but it does not do anything. Shame because this would be one of the most useful mods out there if it still worked. I hope the creator comes back to update it.
Now imagine if before or after the dice roll, your party members speak up and interact with your character as they offer to do the check for you, and you can say yes or no, or an automatic yes. Its always bothered me how silence your allies are acting oblivious and only speaking up ONLY if scripted to certain npcs.
