I think this mod doesn't work with unique tav. But I removed the tail files from F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Generated\Public\Shared\Assets\unique_tav\BODY\TIF\MALE the tail is gone. Only thing is that theres a hole on the naked body.
all the male tielfing bodies glow orange. I have male (not strong) and female (strong) no tail mods installed but even when i toggle them on or off, problem still persists. Wondering if it's a problem with load order or maybe something went wrong with the Unique Tav compatability instructions from jephos can't remember when it became a problem so can't pinpoint it to the action of the cause HALP
Just wanted to let people know you can get this mod working alongside the Unique Tav mod meaning you can change the characteristics of just your player character if you want.
For example if you rename:
TIF_M_NKD_Body_A.gr2 TIF_M_NKD_Tail_A.gr2
Located in the pathway for the mod: 📁 Data 📁 Generated 📁 Public 📁 Shared 📁 Assets 📁 Characters 📁 _Models 📁 Tieflings 📁 _Male 📁 Resources
and overwrite the pre-existing files it will change the Tail and Hands for soully the PC. You can also combine this with the installation method for the base mod to change the Tails and Hands of all Tieflings as well as your unique Tav.
I tried this way too, but really nothing happens and I can't explain why. Path is right, merging is right...I really don't know what i'm doing wrong, even this method won't free me from that damn tail T_T do you think there could be some conflicts with other mods? the only ones that modify the body (beyond yours) are unique tav and the head preset
Hi! Don't really know why or how this happened, but I disabled Unique Tav on vortex (but it still works in the game?!) and now the boring tiefling mod works too. Hopeful this can help!
hello im using bg3 mod manager and because this isnt a pak file i cant activate it. can you possibly convert it into a pak file or is there a way to activate it that i dont know of?
i placed the models file of your mod at Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Public\Shared\Assets\Characters and the mod isnt working. im assuming its because of bg3 mod manager.
For some reason I can't find this pathway in my install directory. The one I have is Data\Public\Shared\Stats\Generated\Data with txt file named XPData.txt in it, and that's it.
There's literally one other comment saying it doesn't work. Can you go into your install directory and go to Data\Generated\Public\Shared\Assets\Characters\_Models\Tieflings\_Female\Resources and screenshot it please?
Well, I literally gave a way of troubleshooting in my comment above, and you also chose not to follow that. I suspect you're not following instructions.
Sorry no one took you up on your offer but I will if that's okay. I actually noticed this as an issue when I couldn't get a beard replace mod to work. After a while, I noticed my male tiefling's had tales again. Well, you put it in the wrong folder, which I suspected was the same problem as the other person. The Generated folder needs to be inside the Data folder in your install directory.
