Hi everyone, I have tried several times, and I am sure it works correct! Just only use my mod! It should like this in your mod manager! Everything will be correct! If you still have some problems, please tell me!
I love this mod! If it only have a "No Statuses on Sidebar" that would fit with my gameplay, as I wear 25+ buffs in every character and that takes almost half screen showing their buffs. Dynamic sidebar has implemented it as a standalone for "no status", but it only works with keyboard: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2668
For everyone in a similar situation check this mod that removes the sidebar for controller (among other features) https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/4925
any chance you'd make the sidebar vanish from the gui unless LT is pressed? it'd be nice to have it gone until I press the left trigger. theres a no minimap for controller mod but not a dynamic sidebar for controller.
Id also like it if there was a version of dynamic sidebar for controller. It's bothersome as is to have so many faces off screen that I can't see as I navigate through them when i play this game with a controller. My pc doesn't like switching back and forth between keyboard and controller.
nice mod... any chance to make a controller version of these mods: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/3269 https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2082
I also was able to get this to work by just unpacking both mods with the multitool, overwriting the base mods files with this one, and packing it back up into one mod.
A few extra steps, but I am so glad to have this feature again, thank you! c:
Not working for me. I installed the main one required, then the controller version with the BG3 Mod Manager and they're both in the "Overrides" section. The keyboard version works (8 to 9 characters), the controller one don't.
Downloaded both pak files for this mod and main mod and ran into an issue. Both mods were stuck in overrides section in the BG3 Mod Manager. Overriding them and adding them to my load order disabled over 30+ mods I have accumulated. Not a big issue but it was tedious trying to remember my previous order for my mods to work properly.
Big thanks to you for this mod for controllers, however, please update mod to work with main mod pak files because it only works with the older version which is a data folder zip file.
And thank you to hy71261 who left a comment on how to get the mod working.

Download an old zip file for 8-9 characters version and the most recent zip file was 8-26-23 at 6:21pm
This zip file contains a data folder and not a pak file
Use 7zip or something similar to extract the data folder and then drop it into your BG3 folder
Example of my folder path:
1TB SSD > program files x86 > steam > steam apps > common > Baldurs Gate 3
Download this mod next for controller and extract file with 7zip then drag and drop the pak file into your mods folder DO NOT load to order or use BG3 Mod Manager or it will disable all of your mods so just drop it into the mods folder follow my folder path example and access your BG3 folder --- thats where your mods folder will be
You can also add these folders to quick access in file explorer that way you can get to them quick without going to Steam or GOG
Again do not use BG3MM for controller mod do not export to game or add to load order until there is an update. Otherwise youre gonna be up all night activating your mods by dragging them one by one back to the load order side and if you have a lot of mods you might forget that certain mods need to follow another mod for it to work properly so proceed with caution
Hope this helps! <33
Thanks again tigerne ! I'll track your mod for any future updates I appreciate your work! :)
I just use it directly by bg3 mod manager, and I try to find the problem you face. Can you just use this mod but not use the base mod and find it will work or not?

I didn't use status panel fixes, don't know what it is. I tried without main mod but nothing changed.
