Hey everyone, sorry for the long inactiveness. I have decided to try and figure out this Dragonborn teeth problem/not working and also making a .pak version for you all asking. Keep an eye out for further updates, shortly!
I hope it is what you all have been looking for, I had fun figuring out how to get this to work. Let me know if you want brighter/darker, pretty easy modifications that I can add optional files for in that case.
Also of course remember to bug report if you find any. (Doubt there will be any unless you use 2 mods changing the same texture)

Absolutely love your mod, been using it forever however recently I've been having a very odd issue on patch 8 where this mod (Using Pak version Reduced Brightness) causes the LO to reset and the MCM Menu to be 'inactive'. I narrowed it down to this as once I remove it the LO remains fine and MCM works. I made sure to remove any older versions as well as I used to use the loose file version.

Can you clarify what you mean by the MCM menu and LO to reset. These terms don't ring a bell for me, been inactive from the BG3 mod community since the last update so very new to this again :D
I'll try and fix it if I can figure out what the issue is.
Could be worth trying the latest version. Was an issue with the UUID of the mod, the generator that's supposed to give a unique one gave me one of another mod. Dunno maybe this fixed it, if it didnt I'd like mroe info like I asked for in the previous comment :) <3
No need for apologies I actually apologize myself for being a hassle, I've newly updated and unfortunately the issue still stands, so when a mod causes a issue or is outdated/incompatible with something it'll causes the MCM(Mod Configuration Menu) to stop working in-game and will cause you LO(Load Order) to reset itself and disable all mods. I do use alot of mods myself but nothing modifying teeth. I can't narrow down any conflicts however, thank you for the update regardless tho I know being a mod creator is a pain in the ass sometimes, if I can figure more info I'll let u kno.
I just wanted to let you know that the newest verison of your mod (atlests the reduced brighness one, not sure if the versions of the mod make a difference) seems to cause issues in the mod manger for me when I try to pair it with mod Half-Tiefs from labotor. When I try to have them both in my bg3 mod manager it tells me that there is a duplicate of a mod and tries to tell me that your mod is the dublicate. not sure why that is or if it's just a issue I have. maybe it is fixable since past versions worked? it's a bit of a bummer that I can't use them both at the same time right now. never noticed how much the yellow teeth of the game bothered me until now that I (hopfully temporary) had to delate your mod, like I know that the yellow teeth are probably accurate but still I can't unsee it like I did in my first unmodded play through :,).

I wonder if they might have the same uuid for it to be considered to be a duplicate by the mod manager. That bug happens with the in game mod manager and the third-party mod manager. What i did was to find another mod that adds Tiefling features like horns and nails separately.
I think it could be the same UUID but that would be weird since the UUID generator I used should make a unique one. and it's a complex hash so that would be very unlikely. But I will look into this, see if its as easy a fix I think.
Seems to work. Though whenever I load a save it brings up the Mod Verification window, saying that a mod has changed. Not a huge deal, but this is the only mod listed there

The old way of installing it (putting the generated folder in the data folder) should still work.
I assume the pak is not loading, even though its in the mods folder?
It should now work in the 3.0 version, still no Dragonborn teeth, but at leas the .pak works now. (Hopefully) Thanks to FaithofJoy for reminding me about the meta files I needed... I feel so dumb.
Does this also change the Dragonborn's gross teeth? If not then I'd like to request it! I've made so many beautiful dragonborns only to get jumpscared by a dentist's worst nightmare ;w;

Sad to say no luck yet, I think I found one set of Virtual Textures for the Dragonborn teeth, but unsure if it's the right one, and don't have a dragonborn half illithid save to test it on.

Edit: Tried to create one myself. It worked and the mod showed up for me in BG3MM.
