Just curious but is there some technical reason why Alfira replaces the Fighter hireling slot, and not the Bard which seems easier? I kinda wanted to use the Fighter hireling as well...
Despite the other mod being out, I decied to use only this one. Alfira feels like she should have been a companion by design, the other 11 not so much.
I wanted to change her spells so obviously I headed to Withers and paid him his 100gp, I didn't change class, just switched up the spells, and now she's broken. I can't speak to her to send her back to camp, or dismiss her entirely, I also can't uninstall the mod because I get a "There is a mod missing" screen which no matter how much I say "load anyway" it won't
None of this would be a problem, but I literally can't long rest because if I do then I get a message like "Your companions are asleep and can not awaken"
Some mods that could be affecting it: 5e spells, Party Limit Begone, Appearance Edit Enhanced
If anyone has a suggestion on how I can remedy this it would be appreciated.
It seems I've encountered it as well. I'm afraid this mod is abandonware so for me the answer was to dismiss her. It's too bad, she should have been a companion. Wish Hope was too.
Love the mod! Was so disappointed when she wasn't a companion, i have been having problems with a lot of armor and camp clothes (especially with basket of equipment mods) showing her default outfit instead of whatever i try to put on her, would these be fixable? If not, I still love the mod and can work around it :)
Some things I noticed with this mod; Alfira has not been added to the Origin race menu and her appearance cannot be customized with the ImprovedUI compendium mod. Her race in the details is listed as Half Elf instead of Tiefling. This mod may also be responsible for other bugs that occurred in my game after installing it but I'm not sure if that is this mod or some other compatibility issue. I hope Larian will patch her in as a companion, since there is no bard companion in the base game.
Can only hope you got something fun like Popper in the works for these. We need playable kobolds in any form we can get them without the bloat multiverse mod is for something so barely developed.
All your mods are excellent and so appreciate your work! I will be buying you a cup of coffee for sure! One question, would it be possible to mod it so you could have more than three hirelings at one time? I really dislike letting them go and bringing them back, plus it is nice to see them in camp, plus it makes it so easy to swap out. Not sure if it is possible or if it is something that is a bridge too far.
Thank you! What about Thullia as a hireling? I used her as the NPC ring as I found her personality interesting, but sadly she had no voice at all so it was disappointing and I went back to a load earlier. Thanks again for all you do!
