I have tried it out. After I start the chain, I see no change in the progress of the melee chain. I also get no sen. So I can't use the bonus action attacks, they don't activate.
Ok, it was only level 3, but I thought that if I have these attacks, then it will work somehow? What could be the reason that the follow-up attacks of the melee chain are not displayed and that I can't perform the bonus attacks? Am I still too low at level 3? Will all these things come later?
The mod has not been updated for a long time. Is it no longer working properly? I also have other mods on it, including some that increase the UI and the quick slots there.
I have placed the mod in second last place in the loading order, before compatibilty Framework. Didn't help either.
However, when I execute the first strike, I can see the subsequent styles in the samurai character window. If I drag them to the quickbar, they are gone again the next time. They also don't appear anywhere on the bar, even if you go through all the tabs. There seems to be some kind of problem with the display, something is not quite right. In addition to impruved UI, I also have betterhotbar mod on it, which enlarges the hotbar. Maybe that's the reason. This way the class is bad to basically unplayable for me.
Always switching to the samurai character menu after the starting chain is not really nice. An update of the class in conjunction with the new mods seems to be hopeless.
The problem of skills not being displayed has been solved by the mod better hotbar and its solution approach.

If you give a teammate an AI, it will never use the start style of the chain. So the whole char and its mechanics do not start. The AI-controlled character uses a weapon style only or, if they are on CD, only the autoattack, never the first start style.
This is of course a loss, as this class is only available for the main character, or if you play without an AI mod(https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/4351?tab=description), which I never do.
Could you elaborate or share the Better hotbar mod you are using. I have found that the skills work, but you can only find Kasha or the other tier 2 combos skills in the spellbook screen and have to drag the down to the hotbar. And once i use them, they disappear.
For anyone that's still wondering how to get the 3 spells Gekko, Yukikaze, and Kasha to show on Better Hotbar 2 when you cast Hakaze without going into the spellbook each time: You have to drag the red hotbar shutters/dividers all the way to the left which will make the recast bar shutter/divider appear on the right hand side, then you can adjust the shutters/dividers as you please.
Hi, Kanmuuru, I'm loving your mod please update it to patch 7 compatible. Im currently using it in my playthrough in patch 7. Nothing is broken and fairly useable however I could only chain attack to the red one not the blue and green combos. You have a lot of fans and we eager to play this mod in this patch 7. Cheers.
Hi, great mod! I'm trying to edit something using the modders multitool but I'm getting this error even if I don't change anything, just by rebuilding the mod folder: Samurai/Public/Samurai/ProgressionDescriptions.lsx Parsing error at or near line 17, column 22: An item with the same key has already been added.
If you want to edit this mod, use LsLib toolkit by Norbyte. It will work similarly to the multitool kit. Open it, select game (BG3) and go to the Pak tab. Select the pak+where to extract and in that same window there's the option to pak+overwrite the original file.
This worked for me. I tried doing it with multitool and had the same error. So just switch to the new export tool.
Fantastic mod!!!! There are some balance issues i would say like 4 attacks once you get Extra Attack at level 5 plus one more if you have enough sen, that is one point. The other is the reaction from the counter attack being automatic once the triggers happens, i think everyone would love if we could be asked if we want to use the reaction with a counter strike or not. Thematically is so great that i enjoy every battle with this class. Really wish this mod dont/didnt get abandoned. Sorry if any mistakes on the writing part, not my main language. Peace!

You have to drag the red hotbar shutters/dividers all the way to the left which will make the recast bar shutter/divider appear on the right hand side, then you can adjust the shutters/dividers as you please.

Can you give a little help?

Then remove the line that have "ExactMatch", now it'll only have one of them. No more same key.
