Updated file 9/24/23: The level scaling now works on all weapons. If you level from 3 to level 4 and you are not getting the correct enchantment level with your weapon you need to save and reload the game. That should fix it. That's what I had to do when I leveled up and the weapon did not change in power.
I now agree with everyone that the blade was indeed too long. I have shorted the blade on all the versions by about 8" now and the short version is just about 2" shorter than the non-short versions.
I really appreciate all the kind and thoughtful comments. It really means a lot to me. Please know that I am mostly skilled at making 3D models and doing textures. I really don't know any programming at all. If it wasn't for others who made other weapon mods this mod would not be here. I used what they did as a template guide to make this mod. So I do appreciate the comments as to what would be cool and your ideas to make this mod better but my modding skills are very limited in this game. Hopefully, things will get easier when the Dev kit comes out.
I do plan on doing it in time. I work a lot and don't have a lot of free time. The mod needs to be rebuilt in the tool kit and as of right now I don't have the time to do it. When I get some free time I will.
I am aware of this and there is nothing I can do to change it. Whenever I move the weapon storage bone, the rapier is still in the same place. I could fix it so that the weapon is correct when you put it away but then it would be floating away from your hand. So I went with the correct placement in the hand.
Hi - it doesn't seem to like the game since Larian added their own mod manager. larian complains about it on startup and It doesn't appear in game at all.
Sorry, I didn't notice this until now. I have no idea why that is happening to you. Mine works fine. As I said above I am not a coder so I have no idea what to do to help you. I would say uninstall it and then reinstall it. Sorry I can't be more help.

I see a lot of people complaining about the blade not being in Tutorial Chest. But as usual, there are no people among the couch "experts" who can help with this.
I slightly change mod for myself with the item appearing in Tutorial Chest, so I'm sharing how to do it (very simple).
(unzip the mod's pak), then follow the path: ...\silverTalon\Public\silverTalon\Stats\Generated\TreasureTable.txt If you don't want to see the item at the merchants, clear everything and insert the following: new treasuretable "TUT_Chest_Potions" CanMerge 1 new subtable "1,1" object category "I_SST_silverTalon_2",1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 new subtable "1,1" object category "I_SST_silverTalon_2",1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 Hopefully, if sankojin add these lines in the new version of the mod, the caustic comments will disappear

Works perfectly fine for me.
I would love the blade to be a little shorter still, but otherwise its great.
