I love the way this is implemented as separate spells. It makes Chainlock a viable multiclass with Conjurer wizard (Summoner/Demonologist) You can upcast these spells with wizard spell slots and just have Warlock level 3. You get fewer summons but their stats still scale.
It would be nice to expand this to 3 creatures for Fey and 3 for Old Ones.
This mod can used with the scaling Better Pact of Chain Familiars mod (Beastmaster - Warlock style) except it overwrites the Raven.
A complete overhaul similar to Untamed mod could be done combining those 2 mods with Fey and Old One critters. I have an idea how to do the Spell_Target, Character and Passive txt files but have not used the main tool kit yet.
Would enough players want a Summonlock Overhaul?
EDIT: Well, Necromancer Warlock - The Dread Overlord is has 2700+ endorsements.
I used to run this with Chains of Cania. I like summoners a lot and use AI control. So it was 3 merregons, 4 hellboars or something, yurgir. Also a couple of cambions, imps(stinger, crossbow), minotaur as well as one of the three uber summons you get in later levels in Cania. Tbh i would very much love a mod that includes all sorts of fey summons to maybe buff up Archfey. And then Pact of the Chain infernal kind of summons, kinda what Cania and this mod have. Normally they cannot be all summoned due to some StackID being the same. That is easy to edit and remove. They werent that easy to make run together tho. However i did eventually manage it. Load order needed to be quite precise. Didnt make any compatibility edits.
Would you consider combining the new summons into the existing Find Familiar spell submenu for warlocks?
This would declutter the hotbar and allow the new summons to be summoned without consuming a spell slot. It would also have the side effect of hiding the icons (which to be honest are kind of a dead giveaway that this is a mod, and not something that could have been vanilla in the first place).
It'd also have the balancing effect of forcing you to choose just 1 to summon at a time, which would probably be ideal for balance in the first place. What do you think?

I'm using The Dread Overlord subclass and each of the infernal summons are not contained inside the Find familiar spell
If you put this mod below the subclass, andras as a pet summon is not available in find familiar but I have access to Yurgir as a summon hence its the complete opposite when you have this mod below the subclass you have all the infernal summons except for Yurgir and Andras the dog is available to summon
Thank you SO much! Hellish summons are so underappreciated: we've got countless mods for necromancers and yet almost none for fiendlocks, despite how much the infernal theme plays in the story. It's also super cool that you chose to add unique options instead of already somewhat-available-through-items cambions (i'm still a bit salty Plannar Ally isn't on vanilla warlock spell list for Mystic Arcanum)
Are you supposed to be able to summon them all at the same time? I just reached lvl 9 and now I get to summon two boars, two merregons and one Orthon. I just created an army that killed Dror Ragzlin and his friends on tactician. Maybe a "bit" too much? :P
VERY underwhelming summons they seem just as shitty as the others they hit like feathers like the others only thing that is different is the type of summons you get NONE of which really make this mod or the subclass worth taking over the other two.
Yep, In view of previous works, decided to design this mod's summon based on vanilla stats. It all started when Wyll said he could once summon hellboars.
Maybe you can share what you think and what can be improved. Let’s brainstorm together. This is where the modding community gets interesting.
I'm really digging this mod, the Orthon i a bit stronger than is what I'd like for my purposes, but they're all very well implemented.
I was curious if it'd be possible to create a version of this mod or similar that had options more in line with the flavor of the other Pacts, around the same relative power of the Hellboar.
Such as like lvl 3 giving you the choice between a Hellboar, an Intellect Devourer & like a Meazle or Blink Dog. With those scaling up an extra attack at lvl 5 along the lines of the Hellboar & the existing Deepened Pact option.
But again, it's a great mod & makes building Wyll less awkward when he has a powerful option that doesn't step on the toes of his quest reward rapier.

Some people think the summons in this mod are too weak, so they got buffed.

If we do so, I can't think of a reason to use a vanilla familiar if these summons are on a shared cooldown.
