    I have added a video guide to the Videos -tab on how to make Custom characters into the mod. It can work with modded assets but I only prefer to help with vanilla assets.
    Note!
    I have removed the _merged.lsf.lsx file from the mod itself because it was causing issues. You will need to download the merged file from Miscellaneous files, and copy it to the location shown in the video.

    If you update to 2.0.4 and want to keep your Tav in:
    Copy your edited _merged, Spell_shout and POLYMORPHED files to the new version. Important! Open the edited POLYMORPHED file, at the first enty there is a line data "rules" , make sure it is:
    data "Rules" "09073b8a-c898-497a-8a96-2ba4edb4c50b"
    Repak the newer version of the mod and it should work fine. If you want to keep the Raphael cambion edit from 2.0.4, copy the new entry from the POLYMORPHED file to your edited file.

    Update on official Toolkit & custom Tav transformation
    : Padme4000 has made a really good in-depth guide on making these character templates with the official toolkit. I am still learning the tools, so I will hopefully make a guide on how to make a ring mod for yourself with the toolkit, so you don't need to use this mod as a template. If you want to do it now by editing the files from my mod, you should be able to copy the template UUID you need from the toolkit, and create the spell according to the video I have made earlier.

    Since I'm getting questions and requests that are repeats
    - here's my current list of characters that I have been planning to add. The Act 2 and 3 characters are proving to be more tricky to add, so this is taking more time than I want to. The ones on yellow background have been added to the mod and are working perfectly, the orange ones are to be added and blue ones are the ones that need further development. Lilac ones need further testing. If some of these prove to be too difficult, I might cut some characters off this list, so this isn't fully definitive list.

    Since the patch 7 is coming earlier than I thought, it will be after Patch 7 is released, hopefully during September.

    Hi, I followed the guide and everything works to add a Tav... everything except the appearance. It's modded but I followed the same guide, getting the handles from their respective CharacterCreation folders, but the appearance in the end is still the normal template of the character, so I'm totally lost.

    Can't get this mod to work at all on patch 8 ;( anyway to fix? No saves/new games loadwhen it's enabled.

    Does anyone has an idea of how editors make Astarion appear in Orin's place when Durge has its vision of her on altar?? I do want to know how they swap them...

    P.S. why they keep being naked if casted on non companions?  The only naked be the companion versions - other npcs not. 
    Nere didn't work - went to default.

    Thank you so much for this mod! I love it so much! I just wanted to ask: I've just updated to Patch 7 and got the mod working. I note that it says in the description that some Act 1 characters won't work in later acts, but in Patch 6 I could get Abdirak everywhere, however now he seems to only work in Act 1. Did he work previously due to some other mods I might have had, or is this just an unfortunate consequence of the patch breaking him? Thanks in advance!
    EDIT: Never mind! I installed Unique Tav and got that all set up and now the ring works again! I never had that before but I'm just so happy to have him back that I'm not questioning it haha. Thank you again for your amazing mod, I have truly taken the most unhinged screenshots with it.

    so after unpacking the mod, in the RingOfMetamorph\Localization\English I'm missing the RingOfMetamorph.loca file and have only __MT_GEN_LOCA_64575a20-6373-4f9a-9986-a8ff7e4c3f99.xml file :p I did download the newest version of the mod before unpacking so I have no idea why it's still happening

      I have the same issue and I have unpacked all versions of this mod and no RingOfMetamorph.loca in every version. Don't know what to do.

      This is the file - I didn't realise when making the guide that the packaging/extracting changes the file name now. It should work wither way, but I'm not sure.

    Hi. First off, thank you so much for this mod.
    Second, I'm having trouble activating character dialogue options. For example, I'm in Act 3 trying to get the love test scene with Gale but using Wyll's appearance on him. The option doesn't show up for Gale and it only shows Asterion, who is the only other member in my party of 3 (Gale, Asterion, and Tav).

    Gale's option doesn't show up in Zethino's choices, even if he's the only one there. If I cancel the transformation on Gale, his option finally shows up.

    I tried looking this up but saw one post where you advised to remove any similar mods. I only have this mod along with UI mods and Tav related appearance mods (additional hairs and hair colors). Would that interfere? I have no other problems with cutscenes.

    Hi, the youtube video on adding custom Tavs doesn't seem to be available any more. Is this not something the mod can do since updating?
