About this mod
Have you ever wondered why you can't make a Dance Performance in-game? You can play all these Instruments but you can't Dance, right?... Well now you can! Perform a Dance with Instrument Proficiency!

Up to this day, there was no real way to make a Dance Performance in-game or to add a Dancer to your Band. But now finally these days are over!
This Mod allows you to Dance anytime you want, be it in a Town to delight NPCs who will then give you a Tip (if you succeed in the Performance Check that is). Or in Combat to show your opponents who the Boss is! And you can do all of that without spending a Level 6 Spell Slot for Otto's Irresistible Dance or waste a Scroll. And the effect holds as long as you want, unlike Otto's Dance which only lasts 10 Turns aka 1 Minute.
On your Bard or any other character with Instrument Proficiency just unequip your Instrument and click on the Whistle Performance Icon. In this list of Spells, the ability to Dance will be there.
- Install Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Fixer (the ability to Dance may or may not show up without it)
- Use your preferred Mod Manager to Download and install it. I use Vortex
- For Manual Installation: Extract the Files into your BG3 Data folder
For Ultimate Bard Band experience in BG3, I recommend Party Limit Begone and Achievement Enabler (so you can use this Mod to work on your Busker Achievement)
- Once the Dev Modding Tools are released, I plan to add additional Dances into the Pool. Currently it is hard to get Animations into the game or change existing Animations to work smoothly and loop.
- I plan to Add the Spell to the other Spell Containers of Performances, so you will be able to Dance with any Instrument equipped.
- Rarely saves that are late into the game (Act 3) can cause the mod to not work properly. NPCs may stop talking to you and you will not be able to leave camp when this happens. This seems to be a save file issue and if it happens, you can try to start a new game check if everything works, and if it does load back into your playthrough you want to continue in without closing the game. Sometimes this can fix the issue. If it does, make a new save and continue from there. It should work fine after that. Early game saves and fresh playthroughs seem to always work fine.
- Deluxe Edition Songs can in some rare cases disappear from the Whistle Container. I'll be sure to add a fix once I figure out what causes it.
