Hello mod author! First, I tried version "e" and think it's fantastic—lasting until Long Rest and being self-targetable is awesome! Second, I wanted to ask if you have plans to create an upgraded version. I might need a stronger Bardic Inspiration for combat scenarios ("Combat Inspiration"), and I hope you could make a mod with the same trigger mechanics as this one. Lastly, I’m not a native English speaker, so apologies if my phrasing is awkward. Thank you so much!

I'm not sure where to put the question so I'll jump in: in general, it's specified that our ally keeps the bard inspiration until the next long rest. But can he lose it if he's threatened in battle, for example?
I'm having an interesting issue and dunno if anyone can shed light. Using either A1 or D1 (the two I've tried) at level 5 I go from 5 uses of inspiration on my PC bard and 1 use on my party, to 105 uses on my PC bard and 100 on my party. It means I can use it constantly basically. I uninstalled to see if it would clear and it doesn't. It's still active.
Any thoughts? I do use a lot of mods but nothing else that impacts bards.
Both A1 and D1 are aoe and remove targets limit. So it should not matter. I guess you have some spell that changes how Bardic Inspiration works. If you want to, I can make an override version for you that will force it to work as previous, as long as you will put it as the last one in your load order.
Yes, I'd be grateful! I can't figure out what else I would have that would affect Bardic Inspiration, but it's AOE at start, 1 charge for each companion and 5 for my bard, and then after level 5 it goes to the 105/100 thing as before.

No more 105 endless reuses, so I'll have to be more strategic in its use (which I like!). I no longer have 5 uses of it though (it takes one of mine to buff my party) and it doesn't seem that I can't use it for attack or defense any longer (which I did like...just not 105 times). :).
I can't get it to ask for confirmation before use on skill checks. Gale automatically did one was we were walking past a hidden cache and used his inspiration despite me having it ask for confirmation before (does it normally work that way? I've used your mods since starting to play so I don't know! LOL). It does ask for confirmation before attacks or defense.
So I guess basically I'd love this version as-is if it included the caster (so would that be D1 I guess, with the overrides?). Thanks if this is possible, and no worries if not as I really appreciate all you've already done for me and everyone here! :D
So small update. I hit level 5 on my bard today. As long as I only have the override you sent installed, it seems to work with 1d8 now (only 5 charges instead of the 105 I was getting). Thanks again for all your help with this. Will keep you updated if anything changes. Very grateful!!
PPS: Last message. As I played some, it still autotriggers saving throws and uses an inspiration without asking. So unless I put the D1 back in with the override (and in which case I get the 105 uses), it still doesn't work as I think you were hoping (and I was asking for). Thank you so much for trying, though. I'll figure out a way to play with it. Oddly, it seems to reset to "normal" once I get the 1d10 bardic inspiriation. So 1d6 and 1d10 work as normal, but 1d8 gives me an infinite number of uses if I use the override and any other version (not sure if that's what I should do or not). If that's of any help...
Most likely you've told it to ask for Attack Rolls and Defence rolls in Reactions, but not disabled the Bardic Roll Ability passive, which is what you need to turn off. Just know that you'll need to turn it on again when you do want to use it on your next ability roll.
Thanks for this (just seeing it). So why did it work fine before? That is, when I didn't use the override MaskedRPG kindly provided, it wouldn't 'consume' an inspiration for ability rolls, but with it in, it does. I'm just constantly having to recharge the Inspiration 'cause it's auto rolling.

Moving the Unlock Level Curve Mod far up the Mod order and leveing this mod far down the list. That did the trick for me at least.
