I don't know if you have faced a similar bug but His Majesty at the Last Light Inn doesn't have a body. It's just a floating head. Maybe the polymorph spell is affecting him?
Edit; Nevermind, the culprit is Jaheira's young body mod.
In the way the game is built it is impossible to do with the subject level.
As for the caster level as far as I know it's not possible also. I know we can make it level up according to a specific class (which is how wildshape works) I tried to change the class to character level and it did not work. The other option that is possible to do, is to increase HP (or available beast) with an spellslot upcast.
For available beast since they are all under CR7 which is the minimum level when you get Polymorph I decided to just give all beast right away. As for Upcast with HP boost I though about it but didn't stick to it since not really in line with how the spell normally works. (If I have some extra free time I might jump into it)
For now I'm focusing on adding more beast to the Spell, Rat and Boar are coming ;) and probably all ranger beast version, but damn it's long to code all this ahah (outside of work, study and other personal stuff)
The problem is deeper druid wildshape have no AC scaling per lvl. So using this as battle form still kind of meh. E. G. My Laesel lvl 5 in her starting armor without shield has 18 ac. At the end of the game she will have 25 AC or even 30, wildshape form will have 15 (okay there is a buffs and some tweaks that let you bump it up to 18-20 if you sacrifice all your feats into this and get specific unique items but still)... and will die in 2-3 turns. So real polymorph should also rework wildshape scaling... which is a lot of work,
This is the closest mod to what I'm looking for. Thanks!
Just wondering, is it possible to make the polymorph "permanent"? Or increase the turns to something like 50,000? I see you made it "until long rest" rather than the default 5 turns.
I'm just daydreaming of a playthrough turning all enemies into sheep "permanently". LOL
There's a "permanent" time option some abilities have like pact weapon. Not sure if that means anything though for what's possible, I've never made a mod for bg3.
Am i able to add this mid play throuigh? does this still work? when i add it to the game it acts like a fresh install and i cant acess my save idk why.
Hi! I'm making a mod that requires a variant of Polymorph that retains the caster's mental stats. Would it be okay if I altered your mod as part of mine to add such an ability? I would of course credit you prominently
The dinosaur is made in the game that's why it it there, sadly no giant ape or mammuth made in game and I am not that good to code a physical new beast in the game ahah. As for the giant eagle it is not coded in the summon/wildshape of the game but since there is some giant eagle in the game I might be able to find a way to do it. I don't know if I will do it though just to not set expectation :).
Polymorph is made to transform into a beast form. So no monster like Air Myrmidon (for example) or other monster won't be added as this require the True polymorph spell in 5e, which is a 9th level Spell.
