Any plans to make a similar mod now that we have official mod support with Patch 7? Please say yes, the vintage Ocean dye is my favorite dye in the game! >_<

Nevermind I fixed it, thank you again! (I am hoping for a version that just straight up replaces the "new" dyes with the old, but the summon tutorial chest worked for now.)

Does the standalone keep dyes the same color?

    hi
id have two questions. Im using "everybody dyes" to have unlimited dyes, could this create conflicts between mods? Second thing, Ive read the description but im not sure if these dyes will replace the standard ones or not.
    thank you

Hello, thank you for the hard work on this!  I have a lot of savegames/separate playthroughs and a lot of dye mods installed.  I'm not sure where I might have used these dyes, that is to say, I'm not certain of finding every spot where I might have them in inventory.  What is the effect if you update without removing the problematic dyes?  I seem to see someone in the comments here talking about corrupted savegames?  If it's not safe for me to update without corrupting my saves, do you think it would be safe for me to uninstall v1 entirely?

For the update, does just dropping the dyes work to keep them from corrupting the save?  I don't have the summoning-chest mod and would prefer not to need to install one.

Looks like it should be fine? I think just as long as it's not in your inventory/camp chest when you load.

I tested all the dyes. here all the ones that have changed.

the ones with significant changes are.
{Very Rare Dyes} Custard and Pink Rose Dye, Gorgeous Maroon Dye, Jet and Pink Rose Dye.
{Rare Dyes} Brown Alabaster Dye, Pink and Leaf Green Dye.
{Uncommon Dyes} Ocean Dye, Orange Dye, Swamp Green Dye, Yellow Dye.

the ones that have only slightly changed.
{Very Rare Dyes} Dark Amethyst Dye, Faewild Green and Dun Dye.
{Uncommon Dyes} Muddy Red Dye (a couple buckles were a slightly different color of gold, if you weren't scanning it for any differences you wouldn't notice it at all.), Pale Orange Dye, Sea Green Dye, Green Dye, Pale Green Dye, Purple Dye.

the ones that have not changed at all. (at least that I could notice. I'm tired and it's one in the morning so take this section with a grain of salt.)
{Uncommon Dyes} Blue Dye, Light Blue Dye, Red Dye.
{Rare Dyes} Baby Blue and Gold Dye, Black and Azure Dye, Black and Furnace Red Dye, Bloody Plum Dye, Black and Jade Green Dye, Black and Summer Green Dye, Deep Lilac Dye, Indigo Dye, Lavender Dye, Lime, Lemon, and Lichen Dye, Mellow Fruit Dye, Pale Pink Dye, Sage Green Dye, White and Scarlet Dye.
{Very Rare Dyes} Boreal Blue Dye, Cobalt Dye, Drake General Dye, Lush Burgundy, Peach and Apricot Dye, Sinful Red on Bone White.

I could probably take some screenshots of the ones that have differences and send them to you if you want.

Can also confirm the same thing. Most of the vintage dyes are exactly the same as current patch. Black and Furnace Red Dye still missing that gold.

The v2 rework/update has fixed all of the above by removing the identical dyes and changing the ones that are left to their actual pre-patch 3 selves, rather than just relying on the vanilla files and trusting that they won't be edited further.

Just tested V2, changes looking good! Back to pre - patch 3 dyes! I'll post this on some subreddits for people asking!

Mellow Fruit changed from aqua and pale yellow in patch 2, to aqua and purple in patch 3. Does this mod revert that one?

Yes, Vintage Mellow Fruit uses the pre-Patch 3 colour palette, because that's the entire point of the mod.
