- REWORKED! Scythe of the Deathmage is no longer throwable, but gains Citadel Armaments so that Dread Overlord warlocks without Pact of the Blade can use it with their Charisma Modifier.

- FIXED! Player scythes and bone staves are now stowable.
- UPDATED! Shadow summon from Invoke Spirit: Haunt has been renamed to Invoked Shadow.
- NERF! Invoked Shadow's damage numbers shifted around, it was way too strong for a level 6 summon.
- BUFF! Increased the range of the Invoked Shadow's Strength Drain attack by 125%.
- REWORKED! Covenant of Spirits no longer extends Invoked Shadow's duration to Long Rest. The bonus now merely doubles the duration of the spirits to 6 turns. See bonus to Spectral Horror below.
- REMOVED! Removed the Javelins from Skeletal Giant's inventory as he never actually throws it.
- UPDATED! Pronane Blessing: Prelude to the Deathsong has been updated to trigger on Ebonblade, the Rusty Sword's first upgrade. This is consistent with the Deathsong + Path of Undead changes. Text has been updated to reflect that.
- REMOVED! Connor Vinderblad no longer heals on Short Rest given he already heals after every battle if bonded to his spouse. Seems like an overkill.
- REWORKED! Connor Vinderblad's inventory no longer has the Elixir of Heroism, but gains the throwable Remedial Potion which cures a variety of ills.
- REWORKED! Connor Vinderblad now only has 1 each of Potion of Healing, Potion of Speed, and Remedial Potion. HOWEVER, he now refreshes his inventory every Short and Long Rest. Neat! :)
- ADDED! Added a passive called "Husband's Medicine Bag" which explains this new feature.
- FIXED! I misspelled Connor's last name in a status in the last update.
- UPDATED! Updated "Husband's Help" icon so it's clear it's some sort of uh healing action, I guess.
- FIXED! This entire time, the Skeletal Warlock did not benefit from Covenant of Bones. This has been remedied.
- ADDED! Spectral Horror now benefits from Covenant of Spirits, gaining immunity to Radiant damage unless the damage dealt exceeds 20 hit points.
- REWORKED! The level 14 spell Phylactery has been reduced to 1 target, given that the number of undead has been reduced.
- NERFED! Increased the damage taken by the phylactery-bounded undead to twice the damage dealt to the necromancer.
- BUFFED! Now works on Skeletal Giant and Skeletal Warlock.
- REMOVED! Ghasts and giant Crawling Claws no longer heal on Short Rest.

- REBALANCED! Given that Ghost Dogs now gain full damage from Necrotic Armaments, their base damage has been reduced to reflect that. -1d4 never at level 8, but at level 10, it's the same damage as before.
- Updated the "levels" of the various summons, most of it is just flavor save for Turn Undead/Command Undead shenanigans which hardly any NPCs use (if any).

- Fixed Pact of the Blade bonuses that Larian broke because they changed the entry name from "PactOfTheBlade" to "PactOfTheBlade_Hex."

- The philosophy of this rebalance of this subclass centers on removing unearned passive damage and defense and usually unnoticeable status effects, and more importantly reducing the total number of summons in exchange for stronger summons, and making the class fun again.
- MAJOR REWORK PT 1! Minions Points gain has been reduced across all levels. You may now only create 1 undead via Night of the Living Dead per Short Rest until level 13 when you gain another 1. (Wizard Necromancers still get +1 to their Minion Points at levels 1, 5, and 9 via Undead Thrall.)
- MAJOR REWORK PT 2! In return, Night of the Living Dead now has upgraded minions at levels 5 and 9. At Dread Overlord level 5, NotLD now raises a Greater Zombie, a beefier undead with much stronger attacks and abilities (2d6 + 4 Bludgeoning and 2d6 + 4 Necrotic). At Dread Overlord level 10, Night of the Living Dead now raises a Ghast, which does an incredible 6d6 damage and the ability to Paralyze targets.
- BUFF! All giant variants from Night of the Living Dead may now Daze enemies on a failed Strength Saving Throw via their Main Hand and Stone Throw attack, and push creatures Medium and Smaller.
- BUFF! Giant Crawling Claws may now Off Balance enemies Medium or Smaller on a failed Strength Saving Throw.
- Clarified how "Inflict Curse" works including clarifying that it needs to be Necrotic damage and that attacks need to have a spell/weapon attack roll. At the appropriate level, Inflict Curse will also say which undead type will be created via Inflict Curse. Also mentioned certain cantrip/action exception that will apply Night of the Living Dead: Toll the Dead, Spiteful Suffering, and Halo of Spores.
- REMOVED! Libor Mortis has been removed from your initial equipment list. You must now find it first (this is how it currently works on console).
- BUFF! At level 5, chain pactholders will gain the ability to channel their Necrotic Armaments through Andras the Devil Dog and his Ghost Dogs allowing them to deal you full Necrotic Armaments damage with their bites while it's active. Obviously, Ghost Dogs are only gained at level 8, so keep that in mind.
- BUFF! This Pact of Chain buff at level 5 to Andras also includes the ability to apply Night of the Living Dead on enemies. Andras and his Ghost Dogs have 1 Minion Point each that refresh on Long Rest. It may only raise regular Zombies. Obviously, Ghost Dogs are only gained at level 8, so keep that in mind.
- FIXED! Create Crawling Claws, Animate Skeletal Giant, Animate Skeletal Warlock spells no longer consume corpses and no longer target corpses when you have "Toggle Corpse Requirement" active from Animate Dead Plus Plus. This should alleviate some confusion and hopefully folks know if they have that toggle on.
- REMOVED! Minions no longer spawn Corpse Piles or Bone Piles on death. It created exploits and antithetical to the "corpses are limited resources" that underpins this mod's philosophy.
- ADDED! Toll the Dead now applies Night of the Living Dead despite not having an Attack Roll. It joins Spiteful Suffering and Halo of Spores as the sole Saving Throw attacks that can apply Night of the Living Dead curse.
- NERF! Both Connor and the Fungal Zombie are now on a Short Rest cooldown. Connor's cooldown only affects Dread Overlord warlocks and will be notified on the spell's description on the hotbar.
- BUFF! Connor has been going to the gym for his spouse, his Stone Throw attack now has cantrip scaling.
- BUFF! Connor has updated ability scores. Charisma 5->19 obviously since got that rizz, Dexterity 6->16, , Intelligence 3->8, Wisdom 6->10.
- BUFF! Connor gets a brand new action called "Husband's Help" which is a ranged version of Help that only works on his spouse.
- NERF! Claws and Night of the Living Dead zombies can no longer make Opportunity Attacks. They're dumb after all.
- BUFF! Giant Zombie's Stone Throw attack increased to 2d4.
- NERF! Furthermore, all Crawling Claws, all Night of the Living Dead zombies, and spectral tentacles can no longer Critically Hit.
- REWORK! Crawling Claws now get stronger as you level, gaining HP equal to the necromancer's level starting at level 2, and gain cantrip scaling to their attacks (which they didn't before) and additional bonuses like increased Dexterity and AC for Small Claws, and Strength and increased health for Giant Claws. In return, you no longer gain extra claws until levels 13 and 20. This does has an effect on Pact of Tome damage, which scaled way too hard compared to Chain and Blade anyway.
- BUFF! Exhort the Undead from the Profane Blessing: Corrupted Grimoire can now affect 2 undead enemies from 1.
- NERF! Skeletal Warlock's Nells' Ray of Sickness damaged reduced from 3d8 to 2d8. Given it never misses and poisons and affects undead and cuts through immunities and resistances, this should be fair.
- REWORK! Tome pactholders's Unholy Pact at level 3 no longer has the half cantrip scaling, however it now does damage equal to twice your Proficiency Bonus plus your Charisma modifier (meaning if your minions hit, you get guaranteed damage at the appropriate levels and Ability score scaling). Note that while you're getting less claws and NotLD zombies to buff, number of undead from Animate Dead is untouched.
- NERF! Added stack limits to Invoke Spirit: Haunt/Greater Haunt. You may no longer summon infinite Shadows when combined with Covenant of Spirits. Oops!
- NERF! Bone Staff of Corruption's weapon enchantment and bonuses to Spell Save DC and Spell Attack reduced to 1, and no longer deals additional Necrotic damage.
- REWORK! Undead Commander's Strike works on Night of the Living Dead zombies again—though, expect your dumb zombies to occasionally ignore your commands (this is unavoidable due how the game handles AI). Grants the ability to use Opportunity Attacks to minions that do not have it. Reduced the number of commandable targets to 3.
- REWORK! Massively reduced Skeletal Giant's armor to make it more attractive as a target. Increased its health to compensate. This is not a nerf, but in fact a buff to the tanking ability of the Skeletal Giant.
- REWORK! Blade pactholders' Unholy Pact at level 5 reworked—instead of requiring an active Vampiric Touch, you now only need to have an active Necrotic Armaments. Life steal is equal to your Charisma Modifier plus your Proficiency Bonus.
- REWORK! Unholy Vigor no longer provides flat Necrotic damage immunity when Necrotic Armaments is active—it will provide immunity to Necrotic damage unless damage dealt exceeds 10 points. Combined with Unholy Vigor's Necrotic resistance, this is equivalent to at least 20 points. Myrkul should no longer be a walk in the park.
- REWORK! Increased Aspect of the Dread Overlord's health pool to 9000. It no longer damages itself. It's attack has been changed to a guaranted 4d8 Necrotic damage. In addition, it deals 4d8 Psychic damage and applies "Feared" as a status condition to enemies on a failed Wisdom Saving Throw or 2d8 Psychic damage on a successful Wisdom Saving Throw. It no longer has the passives Dread Ward and Aura of Despair.
- BUFF! Boosted the range of Aspect of the Dread Overlord's main and reactive attacks by 50%.
- FIXED! Skeletal Warlock should now be receiving their soulshields' VFX at appropriate levels. They were already receiving the AC bonuses, but not the VFX.

- The skull flail Dread Cultists get at level 1 have been replaced by a flavored weapon. It also has a passive that allows the wielder to use their Spellcasting Modifier instead of Strength for weapon attack rolls. When wielded by a Dread Cultist, gives +1 to Spell DC and Attack Rolls.
- BUFF! Skeletal Warlock's Ray of Sickness is now Nells's Ray of Sickness. Cannot miss. If used against undead, ignores resistances and immunities to Poison damage.

- Belligerent Soul has been reworked into Empowered Soulshield! It actually feels good to constantly capture souls even during combat now, with additional powerful benefits to your spirit invocations if your soulshield is empowered.
- New Profane Blessing added to Profane Blessing: Corrupted Grimoire in Act 1. Unlock the spell Soul Magnet which turns you into a ravenous Vortex of Souls that auto-captures souls for you at the end of each round as long as you maintain concentration.

Temporary zombies remain at 2d6 though since that's the vanilla behavior.
