Really appreciate the work your putting in here. Especially looking forward to seeing the berserker armor your working on.
If I could be so bold as to throw my two cents in with regards to the sword itself. You might consider including an optional version of the sword that has extra reach. The Dragonslayer's blade itself is approximately 6 feet long, with a hilt that adds about another foot and a half to its length. While a halberd on the larger side, can be about as long as the dragon slayer its not going to be getting swung around by It's tail end like the sword will. Which means the Dragonslayer has more reach than most polearms, even before factoring in the length of it's wielders arms. Anyways, glad to see the black swordsman's arsenal is still getting modded into games consistently, don't think I'll ever tire of it.
I am planning to update the weapon's base mesh, there's a little weirdness with the textures too that I will fix when I have time. Length is something difficult to add too much of in BG3 because of the way weapon armatures interact with character models, hence the shortness compared to Guts' actual sword. Nevertheless, hopefully I can re-rig it completely so it will feel more authentic. Thanks for your two-cents, I really appreciate any and all feedback.
dont worry too much about the length, imo its perfect! There are a few other Guts sword mod's for bg3 but none of them got the length or size right like yours.
To the creator, thanks for this awesome mod! I'm loving it with my Guts build! I'm just wondering about the armor update if it'll work with the Malenia mod (Used it to have Guts have a prosthetic arm!)
is there are possibility of updating the textures for the handle as they're a bit blurry? As a whole though great mod. I have used it start to finish on a playthrough since it came out, and really liked it- and thats really the only nitpick i have with it.
Hi I really love ur mod, overall it is a great work so thank you. I was just wondering if you can fix the bug where the blade is not glue to the back (it was like floating).
To whom it may concern... Sorry for the delay on the armor update of the mod. Aside from a full-time job, I have had to learn a lot about rigging, animation, and lots of other stuff just to be able to get a prototype. Well, the prototype is officially complete and I have confidence that the armor will be playable in game by early April. I hope it will be worth the wait!
I CANT wait for the armor! The weapons are amazing and feel really good! Will the armor have skills, passives or maybe more than 1 version? Like one normal and one buffed? 😄
