the game's mod manager thinks the mod is missing but i have it installed and enabled in vortex, reinstalling the mod doesn't work, changing load order doesn't work, deleting the modsettings file doesn't work
The armor/clothes in the examples are (from left to right) Veil of the Morning, Studded Leather Armour +1, Blazer of Benevolence, Elven Chain and Solemnity Outfit!
That's the Blazer of Benevolence, you get it after rescuing Volo from the goblin camp in Act 1! It's my absolute favorite armor appearance in game lmao.
With the upcoming cross console update I'm so desperately hoping you can port this to console after patch 8 releases. I wanna do a group session with friends and these dyes are more important than transmog to me given how bright and mismatched many base game dyes are.

I hope that it can be available on console as well haha. I'm still waiting for it to be approved over on mod.io, but fingers crossed for that to happen soon!
Hi Izzli, you make my favorite dyes! <3 I'm having an issue with the new update where using a dye gives me an "invalid combination" error. Tried on modded and vanilla items, new and current playthrough, with and without the previous version still installed.
That's very strange! I haven't run into that specific issue in my own playtesting, so I suspect that it might be caused by a conflict with a different mod. Does this issue happen with any other dye mods?
I can't use the patch 7 update on my current playthrough :( i updated, but the game behaves as if this mod was disabled. I have no idea what to do? Please, can someone give me a tip? This dye mod is my absolute fave!
EDIT: I've just noticed that our dear Izzli has already given us a solution to this, here i've copied it for people who are as blind as me, i'm sorry :) "It's most likely your issue stems from the removal of the old version rather then an issue caused by the new version. Until I figure out a different fix, you may have to continue using both versions of the mod. They don't conflict with each other, so the only issue caused by that will be a bit of clutter in the tutorial chest and vendors."
I have no idea what could be causing this to happen, besides some sort of conflict that I haven't encountered, so I hope that checking for conflicts or using the patch 6 version will resolve the issue for you! There's a version of the patch 7 update available on mod.io, the built in mod manager for BG3, has anyone tried using that one instead to see if the issue persists?
I think I've got it! This happens only with modded dyes I've spawned in EasyCheat. (Great mod tho.) I'll go report it there. Vanilla ones seem to be working now - not sure if I was mistaken about the one I tested or if it was fixed in their last update.
@Izzli I was experiencing the same issue where none of the dyes spawned anywhere. Be it tutorial chest or traders, however I could spawn through Easy Cheat. Once spawned through EC it gave me invalid combination. Uninstalled the Nexus version and installed through the in game manager and it worked perfectly fine. No invalid combo and spawned in tutorial chest
Edit: Unsure if there was a mod conflict, since I use ~75 mods, but the only thing that changed was switching to the ingame manager instead of installing the file from Nexus
Thanks for letting me know! It seems like the common denominator is Easy Cheat, so the next time I get a chance I will look into what could be causing the issue with my mod and that one!
I just encountered the same issue on a new game with a different mod-setup, turns out its just load order. In the previous setup I had your mod higher in priority (lower in load order), everything worked. Now I had it the other way around and it gave me an invalid combination - so just load Easy Cheat before and everything works
not only an amazing mod, but having the picture guide here on the Nexus page really helps me determine which dyes to use much better than the bottle color preview in-game

completely understand if not! but by any chance would you make a dye consisting of the blue in winterberry and light pink (snapdragon) ? Honestly its totally okay if not these colors are already so fricking good!
hi Izzli, I have an rather odd bug where I can not load into my old save after updating to your latest mod. The Game is asking for "Izzli's Pigments and Tinctures" but in the games mod list, what appears, is Izzli's Pigments - A Dye Mod, this was definitely not a thing in the previous version of the mod.
edit: never mind just saw with one of the other comments that there is a solution for that... whoops...
