Should this mod allow players that lost their honor saves (aka became dishonored) to save and load? Because even with this mod my dishonored save cannot save or load and it's driving me mad.
This mod removes single save restriction only in honour mode. After you fail once in honour mode, the game technically became 'custom mode with single save' instead of 'honour mode', so this mod will no longer apply. As many of you have asked me this issue, I think an alternate file that apply on single save custom might help.
UPDATE: An additional file has been released, allowing you to turn off the single save option in difficulty setting while in custom mode. Custom Mode is a bit different from Honour so I tried a different approach to allow saving/loading. Might be a little strange but hopefully it works. (Please backup your save before trying it, for I have not tested it thoroughly)
Hi, this mod works perfectly on new HM saves, but I backed up an existing save and then added this and loaded into it, and it is behaving like normal HM (one save only). Can anyone advise me?
Hello, i downloaded this mod and after using it considered to uninstall it so i did. I uninstalled the files in data and i can still save in honour mode when i try to do so... how do i fix this? I dont want saves in honour mode and just play normally so i can get the achievement. i have reinstalled, removed all my mods but can still save in honour mode........
What? You've been always allowed to save in honour mode. The main point is you're limited to just 1 save which prevents save scumming or reloading older saves if you didn't like an outcome. Where did you get the idea that it means no saving is allowed, which for an RPG game that takes 100+ hours to finish sounds impractical to play and waste of electricity.
If you delete this mod and start a new honor run, do you get the Achievements or Do you need to, reinstall the game again because the mod delete file in the game itself.
I don't know if other issues are to blame, but I just finished an honour mode run with this mod and achievement enabler and I did NOT get the honour mode achievement. So be warned. I received other achievements so I know achievement enabler was working. Also, I tried going back to the last save before the end and disabled all mods but that didn't work either.
"WARNING: This mod will block the obtainment of honour mode achievement and golden dice. It will not block other achievements, though." bruh. This means you will not get the achievement. Period.

First off, AnaAurora, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I found myself with a uniquely stupid problem, and only this mod fixed it for me! So THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH.
For anyone who may be just as unfortunate as me -- my issue stems from not being able to select "Honor Ruleset" and have it stick in multiplayer. For whatever reason, when I would select it and hit Confirm, the toggle would switch back to "Standard Ruleset". EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It was ENDLESSLY frustrating, because I wanted to do a Custom playthrough with Legendary Actions WITHOUT the single save handicap.
Enter this mod. Specifically, the SingleSaveToggle optional file. I had to begin my multiplayer game in Honour Mode to keep the Legendary Actions, and threw my characters out of the nautiloid at the earliest opportunity. When I continued in (Dis)Honor Mode, I saved my single save, quit the game, and moved the "Public" folder into steamaps/common/BG3/Data. When I loaded back in, I was able to create multiple saves, in my multiplayer game, with the "Honor Ruleset" still intact.
But it gets BETTER, because I was able to remove the "Public" folder afterward and was still able to make multiple saves in this multiplayer game. Something that should have been so easy was nigh impossible with whatever bug caused the ruleset to change. BUT THIS MOD FIXED IT AND I'M SO HAPPY. Thank you again, AnaAurora!!!!
When you say this mod blocks the honor mode achievement, do you mean for that specific edited save file? I know this is a dumb question but I'm worried about invalidating an in-progress honor mode run while editing the save of a failed honor mode.
can anyone confirm if you get the achievement for beating the game in Honour Mode using this with the Achievement Enabler that comes with the Script Extender?

EDIT: Sorry, was NOT caused by this mod. This works perfectly in Patch 7.
