    This mod should be compatible with other mods as long as they don't modify the progression table for 3rd level Rangers.

    Is this mod compatible with other mods?
    Yes. Unless it changes the Ranger progression table for level 3, it should be compatible. If another mod does change the progression table, i.e. it's another Ranger related mod, I recommend using Compatibility Framework, which allows compatibility between subclasses. Any issues related to that mod should be directed to its comments section. 



    Why doesn't the subclass show up in character creation?
    You probably either:
    1) Didn't install it properly. Take a look at the installation guide at the end of the mod description.
    or
    2) Haven't updated all your mods. Make sure that ImprovedUI and Script Extender in particular are up-to-date.
    or
    3) Have other mods that overwrite it. Please place Community Library at the very top of your load order, and Compatibility Framework at the very bottom. If that doesn't work, try placing this mod further down in the load order. If the problem still persists, disable all other addons except the ones required by this mod, enable your mods one by one, and see which one is causing the issue.



    X happens when I do Y, even though it shouldn't. Why?
    Your other mods are most likely causing a conflict. The first thing you would need to do is to update each and every single one of your other mods to make sure they're not the ones causing the problem. If you've done that and the issue persists, try respeccing out of this subclass before updating it, then respec back. If that doesn't help, disable all mods apart from the required ones and enable your them one by one to see which one is causing problems. Once you've done that and the issue still persists, you are welcome to open a bug report.

    My mods are designed to be as non-dependent on other mods as possible, and I'm not responsible for issues appearing when playing with multiple mods. I will not go out of my way to accommodate or implement workarounds to make it compatible with mods other than the ones listed in the Required files section. If the authors of other mods that cause conflicts wish to do so, they may. 



    Can you make a version where everything is unlocked by the time you reach level 12?
    No.



    Will you make a custom class icon? I demand a custom subclass icon/I can't stand seeing blank space.
    The blank space in place of an icon is because I haven't included a custom one. I have no plans to do so at the moment. We'll see if I have the time and energy to spare in the future.

    My current Tav is one of these. I roleplay him as a corpse animated and controlled by a beetle swarm, and I'm LOVING it.
    Please don't remove this mod when patch 8 comes out. Maybe give it a name like "Ancient Swarm" "Living Swarm" or "Swarmlord" or anything xD
    Having too much fun with it :p

      I'm glad you're enjoying it! 😊 I actually did a similar setup with a Spores Druid hehe, but with fungus instead.

      I won't be removing this one since the official version includes a lot of homebrewing, so I'll probaby update this one at some point with some of the new assets, but I'll be keeping the mechanics as close to 5e as possible, like this mod already does!

    doubling on the worry with the upcoming official swarmkeeper. at least from the description it seems like it will be pretty different from this mod. it cannot be really known until the update actually comes, but i wonder whether it will still be kept up. one thing i think the official won't have and something i'll miss are the cosmetic bugs surrounding my character hah. and overall i've been having a great deal of fun with this mod.

      There'll definitely be bugs with the official version haha, just not the same ones. We'll see what happens!

    Hey man now that BG3 is adding this class officially to the game. What will be the fate of this mod? Will it be discontinued or will you convert it to add quality of life features or stuff like that?

      We'll see what happens! I did notice that the official version is a bit different from mine, so perhaps I'll tweak the official subclass to make it "more true" to 5e, which has been my aim from the beginning. It's kind of what I did when they added Circle of Spores and my mod became obsolete.

    This might be a patch 7 issue; the mod does load and a game does generate, but the Dodge action is missing from the quickbar. I'm using multiple mods but I tested and Dodge is there when all other mods but this one are loaded.

      This is working for you in Patch 7? I get the stuck at 100% on the main loading screen when Swarmkeeper is enabled

      Are you using feats extra? It hides the dodge action unless you use the potion to restore it to the hotbar. Not really sure why it does that, but I am currently playing a Swarmkeeper and have the dodge action available.

    Dude literally waiting for this mod and your other mods to get updated because I use a lot of your class mods. I didn't even start a new campaign on patch 7 solely because of this. I know you took a hiatus on modding but how long it will last :'(

    Would you consider making Gather Swarm into a feat? I'd be fine with there being a requirement like "Gain the Swarmkeeper's Gather Swarm ability 1 level early. Must have 2 levels of Ranger (Swarmkeeper)." or something.

    Alternatively, instead of a feat, an alternate class variant that gets Gather Swarm earlier in exchange for other abilities being delayed (e.g.: spellcasting coming a level later or something), etc.

    I'm struggling to make a 3 level Swarmkeeper multiclass dip work in my build because of the level 12 cap, and that ability is the only reason I'm wanting the dip in the first place. A 2 level dip would bring me to exactly level 12. The ability just sounds so cool, but there's so few levels to work with, and I'm reluctant to mess around with mods that change the level cap.

    A shame the swarmkeeper effects dont trigger when you use Open Hand Monk's push flurry, for extra pushing.
